Even if the re-recorded Reputation is a disaster, at least we can rest assured it will still be 100x better than Lover.

Caring about rerecordings, especially from sings released within the last 10 years... It simply doesn't compute for me

Anyone who listens to the rerecordings beyond release day should be hospitalised IMO

False. Predictions will increase all week long when multiple vault tracks directly address a female muse. There will be a media firestorm.

The Look TV snippet is fine. I think the chorus is a bit off but I need to hear the song outside of a trailer to judge. I think Look is one of the songs that are hard to replicate even with the exact same team, but we'll see.

Delismash TV sounded godly though. Maybe it will be a mixed bag which is what I'm expecting for the pop re-records tbfh.

It could easily sounds off because they are lowering the volume constantly in the trailer, as it is normal to do

Reputation was quite literally her only album to have predictions go down throughout the week :bibliahh: and I’m not even going to address your display of mental illness with that other comment

Look is still bigger, and TV will give another boost. More importantly Puta doesn't have that abomination ME! :bibliahh:

rep come 6 years ago, her voice hasn't changed that much as for the early albums to now. Even if someone is a rep stan i don't understand what's the hype for a re recordings of that album , I mean like everything can make special to relisten to her very early albums is not here... especially knowing max martin couldn't produce it etc...

but as i said i'm more curious about the vault tracks of this than the ones of 1989.

I agree with this. 1989 TV hype makes sense in terms of a re-recording and the vault tracks, but, reputation TV only really have the vault tracks going for it in my opinion. Taylor’s vocals are the same as they were in 2017 and the production isn’t too off from present time, so maybe we’ll have 8 different vinyl editions for this one? :-*

When the first vault Song is called "KKKIM K. (Feat. Drake) and makes 25M First day streams and us rep haters, the corona Summer worshipers and the 1939 stans are left in dust.

Omg the way I posted about LWYMMD yesterday and today we got a snippet of the TV

MY MIND loves

Posted

I was surprised to see the mixed reception for this one... and then I wasn't.

Further proof of a deep generational chasm that divides ATRL into two camps; the twentysomething pop sophisticates with 15 to 20 years of top-shelf pop consumption to their name, and an unruly kid crew with K-pop avatars and tributes to Charlie Puth in their signatures. It's not that the latter generation is a lost cause entirely, but they've clearly never heard a "Taylor" — that is, they've never encountered a voice quite as distinctive as Taylor's. "But I know Taylor! Lover was the first album I bought!" First off, ask for a refund. And no, you don't know Taylor, you know a very stilted and subdued version of the iconic performer.

The Taylor of "LWYMMD TV" is Taylor as Taylor is intended to sound. She very skillfully vacillates between a range of tones; she nasally, then guttural, then grainy, then nasally again, then delicate. (And yes, that's how she's supposed to do it.) She's sultry. She's goofy. She's sounds slightly absurd. She's fully engaged. She's expressive in ways that "technically superior" vocalists just aren't. She is brilliant. You have no idea how brilliant she is.

This is the probably purest attempt Taylor has made to harness some of that ineffable charm that made her early work so irresistible. I adore it.

Cruel Summer is obviously a bigger hit than LWYMMD :rip: Puta stans just need to take the L. Maybe it's time they start fighting evermore stans though that's a huge set-up if we're talking quality
