The good thing about the TikTok era of social media is that it doesn’t really matter where a show is taking place. Shows from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America will all produce similar level of viral results. People from any corner of the earth can and will see those videos. Obviously she’ll get the biggest boost in individual countries whenever she goes there, so I’m sure her US numbers will decline a bit now, but still. I bet her overall streams won’t, because of the global reach of the remaining shows and social media.

+ fans are always looking forward to the surprise songs

When do you think Taylor will get a Walk Of Fame Star?

Whenever she is in a big movie where the marketing team thinks that having her receiving a Star is an appropriate promo action for the movie.

There’s something truly magical about the original mix of Better Man, isn’t there?

I hope one day a few years after the rerecordings are finished and done, she purchases all her old masters and materials for scrap money (since nobody else will really stand to make a meaningful profit from them) and eventually gives us the same kinds of expanded super-deluxe editions that Fleetwood Mac has done for their early albums. I want the demos, the early takes, the original mixes of vault songs, the songs that are still unreleased even after the vault - the idea of Red (Super Deluxe Edition) haunts my dreams:jonny2:

If she ever obtains the OG masters, I would definitely love for her to go back and have them remastered. As most of us have some re-recordings here and there that we don't like as much as the OGs, we can all agree that all the country songs are at least mixed better on a technical level. With that in mind, the serve if we had re-mastered versions of the OGs with much better mixing and then the TVs to pick and choose from :jonny:

Oh and yeah I'd love more demos and outtakes. Joni Mitchell recently did that with Blue for its 50th anniversary, and has released some archive collections in general. It'd also be nice if she would combine the TVs and OGs into the same album so they'd count together for Billboard :eli: I really think she'll buy them back eventually because, aside from 1989 doing the heavy lifting, they'll mostly be killed off.

She’s gained about 450,000 monthly listeners this past week or so

The Speak Now TV drop off of monthly listeners wasn’t huge at all considering LA shows created so much buzz and now CS is gaining week over week still :duca:

Singers get them without being actors

But I predict it will be to promote a movie, since it's more common and she clearly wants to direct movies.

The answers... I started listening to Taylor when I was 17 (2014) and I recall most of her fans being around my age. Now this is a kindergarten :dies:

@fridayteenage I did a little more digging, looks like Herb Alpert did 119 weeks in the top 10 in 1966 (I'm a little tired so hopefully I added correctly and I'm not off by a week or two ddd). :rip:  He spent the entire year with 2 or 3 in the top 10 (+ 1 week with 4) aside from 6 weeks with only 1 in the top 10.

how unfortunate.

i guess the music industry will have to keep up the dominance for 4.5 more months

i feel like the next two rerecordings won't be as mysterious as the previous ones cause i 100% believe she's gonna announce all of them on tour and well we know she basically acts like debut doesn't exists so if suddenly it starts to get a bit of attention we'll know it's coming, and for rep she only got one outfit so if one day she comes on stage with a new one it might be a sign that rep is coming

What's your prediction of the rest of the year schedule?

I love 1989 TV, but do you guys think she will abandon Midnights and leave it unpromoted for Grammy nominations?

I hope the tour video she shot is for You're on Your Own Kid, for 4th and final single of Midnights, this autumn

or do you guys think she will promote any single from 1989 TV to radio like Message in The Bottle and I Bet You Think About Me? (I think those 2 are the only songs she pushed to radio so far from re-recordings, right?)

Talking about next single from Midnights reminds me of another contender, which is Midnight Rain

Idk how the song still challenges Lavender Haze's daily stream

Is there any cult in our fandom that worships Midnight Rain?

That song is so polarizing, I think and will not sound good on radio

The message of the song is a bit unclear either

I remember going to Taylor Swift Karaoke Party a month ago, celebrating Speak Now TV release

and they played Midnight Rain, and it was pretty much silence

and the reverb the speaker transmitted to entire room is so uncomfortable, it got someone rushing out of the room, probably she felt throwing up or something

CNN is reporting that both US legs will gross $2.2B in total. Reading the article, they’re hilariously off. Really makes you wonder what type of journalists write those articles that don’t do their job properly. They’re reporting a ticket average of $456 and they even say they don’t know how many tickets were included in each order, yet they extrapolate that average to the entire tour as if that was the price of an individual ticket :deadbanana4: Average attendance was 72,459 which seems plausible. Taking 68 shows and a ticket average of $215 as previously reported, we get a gross of $966M just for the North American leg

Never Grow Up is kind of a Top 5 masterpiece :giraffe: The amount of adults I have seen sobbing to that song on Youtube is off the charts. The way she captured both the child and adult perspective so closely when she was 19/20 years old is amazing

Reading @Ms. Togekiss I don't know how much veracity this has, but suddenly it doesn't seem so impossible for it to gross 1B in the US alone. I don't know why she is waiting so long to reveal the numbers.

Midnights is her most GP streamed- listened album after 1989.

She can't have a big hit after one year, It's impossibile but a new single can make a Song with already good streams stable with also a grew up in numbers. Like It happened to karma that it's doing very good and stable numbers.

So the 2 next possible singles would be MR or YOYOK cause both are near to 1M Daily.
