So with 1989 joining followed by 1989 TV she would tie. One of those albums in '64 was like a biographical documentary-like proto-audiobook type of thing, kinda odd. Maybe Herb Alpert is another contender here

Ohhh, gotcha. I think The Beatles definitely have that on lock then. I think from Feb-Dec 1964 there was only like 1 or 2 weeks where they didn't have at least 2 in the top 10. Do you know how many weeks she has right now? I think I counted 94 weeks in the top 10 in 1964 for The Beatles but I might be off by a few weeks.

I think there's a chance that Taylor will move more albums in the US this year than any artist in history.

I want to know this too. What’s the US yearly record and how close she might come to it, or surpass it.

 

Which actually brings me to another (very similar) question; does anyone know the worldwide record? I assume it’s veru hard to keep track of until this century… if at all. But she’ll definitely clear 30M, and she already broke MJ’s record for this century (23M) in 2022. It would be iconic if she broke the all-time global record too.

I feel like Midnights is already THEE breakup album. I'm expecting another pivot from her for TS11. I kinda wanna hear what her expectations from life are. A Place in This World but from the POV of a 33 y/o Taylor. It'd be kinda cool if she made a whole existential record. I know she's focused on the present and her career at the moment but what's next for her personally now that she broke up with the love of her life and the rebound didn't rebound the way she was expecting it to be. I feel like her looking into the future would be much more devastating than her reflecting on the past. C'mon Taylor, get into existentialism and give us your magnum opus.

It’s so worth it. Maybe the wait won’t seem as long soon because we’ll be getting new music before then, and potentially maybe another announcement. 
 

August is magical live. But I swear my soul left my body during Illicit Affairs and My Tears Ricochet, and I made the gayest noise possible when Fearless started.  The surprise songs are a whole other beast, too—I’ve never heard people scream so loudly. You’ll have the best times, I can’t believe you’re seeing it three times.

I got lucky enough to buy good tickets for all of them as well. On the other two I got center lower bowl tickets. I might not have this luck in life ever again

I feel you, I lucked out into good tickets for both of my Eras shows. My first show I had center lower bowl tickets as well (and IMO those are the best seats in the house, you see everything ), and for the second I had upper bowl tickets, which were honestly nearly as good, I was basically just vibing the whole time (until surprise songs again, which I swear the stadium was shaking when she started the first song that night, it was wild). I have 100% acknowledged I’ll never be that lucky again.

High Infidelity and Gorgeous for the first show, I Bet You Think About Me and How You Get The Girl for the second. 
 

She trolled me hard with Gorgeous (), but the other three I absolutely lost it for. High Infidelity is my second fave on Midnights and everyone knew she would do it, and it was so, so good live. 
 

The second night when she started IBYTAM I’m literally not sure I’ve heard anything louder than that stadium in my entire life. It was completely insane. HYGTG was also beautiful, but I’ve always loved that song. 
 

And if I’m being honest, Gorgeous was also fun. I hate the song (), but it was still fun to be in the moment. 
 

I would’ve died on the spot for Cowboy Like Me, maybe you’ll get it.
