Clubs in Kosovo don't play her music, so she's a local flop! :cm:

And that was embarrassing, you're so tired by her that you feel the need to randomly come talk about her on an online forum, make it make sense

The incoming obliteration when 1989 TV comes out :bibliahh:

Posted

11 - US

10 - Ireland

9 - Australia, Canada, Flanders, Germany, UK

8 - Austria, The Netherlands

It's giving very much anglo-saxon tho. + China.

That’s because Asia and LatAm (and Africa) don’t have official charts like that. You can just look to Spotify/streaming charts though and see she’s not just “Anglo-Saxon” appeal. She DOMINATES Asia and does better than nearly every other non-Spanish female artist in LatAm.

Like, Rihanna is/was just as / more global than Taylor is currently but her chart highlights would look like this too (not in quantity of albums charting, but in the sense that predominately Anglo Saxon countries would show up in the stats because they’re the only official charts)

Babe, I agree. I am a fan. I'm just saying that list doesn't really prove the global power.

It's "only" half of them in your post :rip: Also, not sure what the problem is, she's still charting 4-5+ albums all over Europe

Some charts like Denmark or Norway are shorter: 40 spots + she is charting the maximum she can in some countries due to their catalog rules (Spain, France).

The fact that you think that this is necessary. We all know this is the biggest peak since like forever

I don’t understand why some people can’t just let others be happy about the moment we live in.

You are all on a pop culture forum yet pretend to not care about the pop culture of the moment .

Oh I wasn’t trying to sound defensive, in fact I didn’t even think you were attacking her or anything lol. I even amended my post with an edit talking about how Rih’s chart highlights at her peak would have shown predominately Anglo Saxon countries because they’re unfortunately the only countries with real charts. That’s all! Just piggybacking off your comment

So when you chart 5+ albums in 20 countries, it's not showing globalness, ok :ahh:

It's basically all the countries with a relevant chart :dies:

Many people on this site always feel the need to go in every thread of artists they hate and i just don't get it. I do it too sometimes tbh but not ALL THE TIME like some do. I don't see the point of constantly making yourself miserable like that :rip:

I feel like a lot of people, including some fans, have become so used to see the "local" drag used against her that they internalized it even to this day, even if it's an objective fact that she isn't local anymore and hasn't been for a long time now.

Thank you. I thought this chart was just about one retailer?

I mean, out of the countries they quoted, there are 5 english speaking countries and 4 other countries, it's basically even :skull:

It's always about France at the end of the day, if you're not completely slaying the French charts, you're local apparently :rip:

I don't think so, it appears to be a national ranking. They're not affiliated with any retailers as far as I can tell. There's a book chart too.
