Will it be better than lover? It’s already better than Lover, darling. It’s better than all Her pop albums 2

wren Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 I need a B side of Reputation to be where the whole album is recorded acoustic with different vocals recorded specifically for acoustic versions. Thank you Taylor.

SpeakNowTv Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 (edited) guys hear me out. the day before she announced SNTV my mother put a purple towel in our bathroom, but now she put a light blue towel, 1989tv is imminent Edited August 8, 2023 by SpeakNowTv 1 3
Bosque Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 (edited) What is this historical revisionism about the Speak Now vault tracks we are not going to do this. Let’s not forget Red TV had its share of vault turds as well. Don’t blame the godly ICSY, Timeless, Electric Touch, Foolish Ones for the fact that due to Taylor spoiling you, you have the attention span of a toddler, and one new album is no longer enough to tide you over for a month. Jaspurr Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 People that were asking for a whole album in the vein of I Can See You deserve eternal damnation. What a boring song. Foolish One, though, is a career highlight. It actually feels like a vault track if that makes sense. 1 1
Jaspurr Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Wait, she had a concert today? It caught me off guard lmao.

vale9001 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 yeah i got a lot of down votes too when i said after 1 hour vault tracks were nothing special. The songs are not even bad, as some of the fearless or red VT, but just nothing special. It's pretty normal to get "bored" very fast with songs that feel very old style for her when she has definitely evolved from that in the 13 years after. So it's not that songs are bad or some of them couldn't have been on the OG version, just it's cute to listen to new material of your favourite artist but it's normal, at least some song it's not really excellent or even fresh in comparison from what she made after, they don't became new classics cause we're not 18 years old anymore, and we move on. The exctiment is very future oriented, as it should be. 1
Taylor fanboy Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 She could’ve added I’d Lie, Better Man & Nothing New on Speak Now and it will still be inferior to your eyes. Timeless alone is enough to hold a candle on all her Vault Songs. It’s a great testament to her prowess even at an early age of her career. The disposable co-wrote bops on Red TV are NOT needed in her discog but Testaments is a MUST in her lore. 1 2
Safe&Sound Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 exile is the new YAIL as its meant to be Like I knew it would make a great resonance to the audience in concert, but maybe she knew most ppl need toilet break after 3/4 of the show so she put that cheater anthem on the setlist instead 1
