As a casual fan being re-introduced to Her earlier work, if we prefer the original over the TVs, should we keep that to ourselves or...? Is it not cool to stream the originals? Honestly just want to know the etiquette of it all. Speak Now has me gagged but I find myself going back to the 2010 record.

Personally, after repeated listens to the new versions I become accustomed to them to the point I don't fixate on the differences anymore. Even WANEGBT sounds okay/normal to me. :skull: There are some small vocal moments of a few songs I miss but it's just easier to stream the TV because I always want to hear the vault tracks when I listen to the albums.

Also, the original Haunted is close to passing 100 million on Spotify so listen to that version by all means. :eli:

Taylor has stated that she is grateful that swifties stream her versions but never expected us too.  So its preferable to stream the tv but it's not a big deal at all the stream o.g.s.  It would be nice to give the tvs versions  a few listens to see if you can get used to the new versions since I think overall they are better quality than the o.g.s excluding a few songs. But if  you still like the o.g.s better just keep on listening to them. Taylor makes a good amount of money either way and scooter braun only gets a smaller cut of the profits from the og.s since he sold off the rights to an pe firm.

Swifties love having debates about which songs were botched in the rerecording  but I think all songs were rerecorded well but there were so modern production choices that make some sound off.

For Speak Now TV significantly a good number of people prefer her emotional delivery in the o.g. The common drag for those people is that they confuse vocal strain for emotion lol.

The one thing you shouldn't do is say that you are streaming the o.g.s to punish Taylor for something. That's just so cringe and psycho.

I can sing Superman over Electric Touch. They are so similar and it doesn't help that one comes after another...

One pap-scheduled “date” and fans think they were engaged or something.

Completely unrelatedly, it is also the anniversary of Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner's engagement :weeps:

can see you standing, honey
With his arms around your body
Laughing but the joke's not funny at all
And it took you five whole minutes
To pack us up and leave me with it
Holding all this love out here in the hall

To kiss in cars and downtown bars
Was all we needed
You drew stars around my scars
But now I'm bleeding

I gave so many signs, so many signs, so many signs, you didn't even see the signs :weeps:

Such a perfect opening 4 sings. Then Jack Antonoff comes in and ruins things as always.

My Tears Ricochet should be stripped back, let these lyrics cut through.

Why does he throw in these annoying loud 'oooooooos' over it all, and then those headache-y strings like omg shut up. Aaron would have never. MTR was sabotaged, could have been a 10/10

We gather stones, never knowing what they'll mean
Some to throw, some to make a diamond ring
You know I didn't want to have to haunt you
But what a ghostly scene
You wear the same jewels that I gave you
As you bury me

He understood the assignment on Mirrorball though. Pure bliss.

The high fragile voice She does on 'seven' and then again on 'epiphany'... No

And I think you should come live with me
And we can be pirates
Then you won't have to cry
Or hide in the closet
And just like a folk song
Our love will be passed on

So much for summer love and saying "us"
'Cause you weren't mine to lose
You weren't mine to lose, no

An ineffable classic

This Is Me Trying a great sing, but the mic effect... the Bleacher-isms... The sing feels like a performance, rather than something truly lived-in. We blame Jack Antonoff, of course.

Illicit Affairs on the other hand... Jack getting out of the way of a sing and letting it breathe :clap3: That was a classic, that was a classic

Karlie Kloss smiles as she bares her budding baby bump... three weeks after pregnancy announcement | Daily Mail Online

You taught me a secret language I can't speak with anyone else
And you know damn well
For you, I would ruin myself
A million little times

We will simply never recover from it.

Invisible String so infectious. Her vocal on the bridge, ugh

Time, wondrous time
Gave me the blues and then purple-pink skies
