The vocals during IKYWT final chorus ugh mamas give us breath control give us life :clap3::clap3: amazing show tbh

The fact I was one of the blessed, chosen few out of the what, like 2500-5000? That were here. The exclusivity of it all :jonny:

The fact that I won my 6 tickets by outperforming a little 5 year old girl at WANEGBT karaoke hosted by an ATT store in my city… :ahh: :ahh:

The delusion and insistence on making Taylor a lesbian has always been so weird :rip:

I really want her to smash in Europe. Like really badly. She’s already conquered East Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania & North America like no artist ever has, and she’s not realistically conquering latam, mena, or africa. but she could conquer Europe. :giraffe:

Imagine if a video does get released for CS :dies:

It’s already approaching 1B streams. Such a mega smash, I don’t think many realize how big this song is yet.

Indeed. It’s very much like, when Emma falls in love and I’m in love with her and she’ll never see me that way, so I wrote some fanfic about how lucky that boy is :deadbanana:

It’s very unhinged, but Her fan base is so averse to any queer interpretations of Her music that it will continue to fly under the radar.

Kind of like how many fans refuse to consider Ivy as Emily Dickinson-inspired, even though Evermore was released on Dickinson’s birthday, Taylor has referenced her plenty of times over the last several years, and some of the lyrics seem to directly quote or reference her. Not to mention the fact that Ivy was then used on the Dickinson TV series 🙃

TS11 to be a hybrid of COUNTRY and EUROPOP!!!!

Posted (edited)

TS11 will be a quadruple album (working name Faces), where each side has its own sound: country, rock, pop, industrial.

She still has tons of room to grow in Europe, but to be fair, I’d say she already has conquered Europe. She’s about to play nearly 50 stadium dates there in 2024 and has numerous albums charting in most European countries, not just due to the ticketing boost but for months now. Midnights was also huge in Europe; it spent a long time in the top 10 in most countries - easily her biggest album to date there. Plus, she’s regularly very high on the artists Spotify charts in pretty much every European country. #1 in countries like Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway (I think), etc. even before SNTV’s release, and top 10 in most of the rest. Even in France, SNTV just debuted at #2 and before Midnights (which was #1 there), she had only seen the top 10 a few times before — with Lover at #5 being her highest peak.

So tldr I think all of this is a massive indication of how big she’s become in Europe. It’s not so much that she needs to conquer it anymore, she already has - she’s probably the most streamed artist in the continent as a whole on most days. But she just needs to expand on her newfound success there and try to get a more defining smash hit single and an even bigger album than Midnights. I actually think a pop album that’s very arena-rock leaning album (think U2 or The National’s older music) with some acoustic/AC moments would do just the trick. Still Pop enough for the masses but more organic-leaning sound-wise, which is a universally successful and beloved genre. And that would be a good sound to accommodate the heavy and likely emotionally-driven/cathartic album we’re going to get with TS11.
