I agree. She’s at the perfect point of conflux between having massive commercial success, having critical acclaim, having widely recognized artistic credibility, and building her legacy. So many people I know will talk about her to me - and unlike years ago when it might have been “oh she’s not really for me,” it’s about what they like or their relative going to see her show. It’s kind of surreal.

I feel like it feels this way every time she has a career peak, but this time it really feels like there’s no higher a person can realistically go.

Maybe leaving behind max worked its magic

She feels even bigger than 1989 Taylor if I'm being honest. Back then, some people were too embarrassed to stan her due to the hit singles, but she's so beloved and respected today (thank you, folklore!)

It's insane to think that she could surpass such a huge era, but she did!

Overall she definitely is at her peak right now especially worldwide, though 1989 remains her biggest era
I do think she might reach the peak with TS11 (as it will benefit from Midnights, Cruel Summer, rerecordings and especially Eras tour hype), if it has the right material maybe it could finally truly dethrone 1989 as her biggest era, we'll see.

I wouldn’t even be mad about this if she’d given Evermore an LPSS moment, but no, she just had to throw it in the attic to waste away and die!

The issue with TS11 is there’s no way to universally capitalize on all the new ground shes breaking from a marketing standpoint.

If she caters to Europe with dance pop OR ballads, the US and Asia will not stan as hard.

If she caters to LatAm or US with rhythmic music, Europe and Oceania and Asia won’t care much for it.

If she caters to the loyalties of Asia, US, and Oceania with just a little of the same of what she’s always done, LatAm and Europe will be bored of her pretty quickly.

She’s in a tough spot. Any way to make a dance rock pop disco ballad album cohesive? :gaycat6:

See, this - the fact that there’s no universally right answer - is why she just needs to go full acoustic bluegrass Americana. Music not the bling, arts not charts 😌

I wish Taylor would do occasional intimate concerts like what Halsey does

During Halsey's prime when she was selling out arenas she would do occasional small venues of 2000 capacity

Would be amazing to get to see her in a very small venue just for the fans

She’s done that in reputation through partnership but yes, I wish she’d do it again.

TS11 third sister to Folklore and Evermore would be amazing. If it “flops”, it flops with dignity. It has to be really, really good though.

Attention‼️ 🚨 According to the Taylor Swift fanbase, The Great War remains the best song on #Midnights‼️ To top it all off, this year she received the title for most Hot 100 entries by any woman in the HISTORY of MUSIC. A title previously held by the Glee cast for years. 👑 She loves her fans so much. Thank you. 🙏🏽

The song eclipsed WCS for me. The power of SwiftTok, I guess.

Imagine if her first feature length film is The Eras Tour Live. :deadbanana2:

Rock would net her North America and Oceania

Pop would keep her in good graces with NA, Asia, and Oceania but LatAm and Europe have historically just not really cared much for her type of pop music and I don’t see that changing even post Midnights/Eras Tour

Dance/disco/EDM would get her Europe’s interest but nothing else :rip:

An AC/Ballad heavy era would net Europe and Asia but probably not the Americas, and Oceania would be a toss up.

Country/folk would remain local to the US & maybe Oceania at best, Asia since they stan her could possibly give it some globality BUUUT Europe and LatAM would do absolutely nothing with it

Rhythmic would get her NA and LatAm (but not Europe or Asia and probably not Oceania) but I’m not even sure what kind of rhythmic music she’s really capable of, it’s not like she can make r&b or Reggaetón music without being seen as a culture culture :rip: nor do we even necessarily want that.

She COULD get away with some sort of funk music but it seems so left field for her. I Can See You is the only song she’s ever had even remotely in that atmosphere.

I still think it’s a little too soon for the return to the woods. Also way too soon for a return to country. She still has untreaded ground she should cover first before moving backwards imo. TS14 could be sister #3 and TS15 could be country, since TS13 will probably be her last globally commercial hurrah in my opinion

If you’re all wondering who Taylor Sheesh is in Philippines, she’s become a nationwide performer with overnight success with lipsyncing to TS music. She has major sponsorships, and is a crowd favorite. She unfortunately has bullies though in social media for her appearance and for being gay.

At Speak Now TV release, a specific chain of malls (“SM”) has Taylor Swift Eras display, and has her music playing all mall hours long (still to this day, I went to that mall for lunch earlier).

Long story short, Taylor is the biggest artist in Philippines right now. MISSED opportunity to not have Taylor Swift physical stores for music and merch like what other acts do (One Direction, BTS, etc.)

So her organic top ten hit singles are:

Love Story

You Belong with Me

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

I Knew You Were Trouble

Shake It Off

Blank Space

Style

Bad Blood

Wildest Dreams

I Don't Wanna Live Forever

Cruel Summer

Anti-Hero

Karma

Lucky 13!

Karma doesn't belong with these girls. I refuse to believe it's organic - are the streams good? It's giving radio payola or something. None cares for this sing.

Her body language…. I never paid attention. The way she squints her eyes, high pitched voice, and all closed up with her arms and legs.

It’s definitely not an opinion I’ve seen super often, but I’m sure there are more of us!

Oh there's more people that prefer LPSS. I very rarely listen to the original folklore. LPSS is just the definitive version for me.

This woman can release anything and it'll sell lbr here, I don't think she should be feeling pressure on herself at all when she's already accomplished so much, that's not really fair to her
