Tony has been sort of reliable (for lack of a better word) before. He tweeted two yellow hearts before the Fearless TV announcement and tweeted two purple hearts for BTS and explicitly said “Swifties, this isn’t for you” so it seems like he doesn’t like to clown the fanbase. I really don’t think anything is dropping on Friday (at the very least maybe a lead single for the next re recording) but I do think an announcement is possible.

I think it's weird how Fearless (song), Fifteen and White Horse are all wayyyy above the album tracks in streams on the OG album and are nearing the 100 million mark but on Taylor's Version they're only slightly above the albums tracks or even below them (The Way I Loved You is demolishing while Hey Stephen and Forever & Always are slightly ahead/on par with the latter two). Yeah unfortunately most of the fanbase don't even acknowledge Fearless anymore except LS, YBWM, TWILY and i guess TOSOTD might be a niche classic and that's it  Forever & Always used to be kinda a fan favorite but Peak Now and Red has pretty much eaten up all the country Taylor hype.

 

On that note, I can't wait for Peak Now (TV) because there are some hidden gems that are gonna be UNLEASHED with updated vocals (Last Kiss and Dear John, if done right could have a mini-ATW moment). I've seen so many new Swifties who only got into her in the Lover/folkmore/TV era that haven't even checked out SN yet.

I'm still warming up to Folklore, but I actually really love Evermore. Coney Island, Ivy, Champagne Problems and Tolerate It are my favourites from that album.

 

Will give Folklore a few more listens :-)

One of these days if she regains control of her OG files, she should consider reworking Fifteen as a duet with her younger self. 
 

Have OG vocals open and then have TV for the chorus and blend in the OG vocals. It would kinda be a cool new level for the song. Sort of showcasing the growth and the journey she took.
