Devin Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I expect ANTI era vocals just more mature/rich.
Adrian Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Female voices tend to become deeper with age so I’m excited to hear that
DonDesperado Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I am so curious about her voice too. Is possible that the lead single of BP is also the lead single of R9? I don't know if it is possible. But maybe it's on R9 also and lead both projects. Don't know also if it's a good idea. But her own project being promoted on that massive movie sound good to me

Alldeezy Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I mean rihanna hasn't made a song I have disliked yet so I know I'm gonna love it

But her own project being promoted on that massive movie sound good to me well R9 has always been rumored as afro music oriented since 2018 (reggae in this case) and black panther has always been a blend of all kinds of black music. so yeah the song could very well fit in both projects if R9 is still in the work. even if the song isn't reggae/afrobeat in any way and more american/urban music, it could still be for both projects because R9 could've still changed direction entirely by now. it's been years ... tbh I'm expecting something like this but not a cover this time. because apparently the movie will be quite an emotional journey (after Chadwick Boseman's passing)
favorite crime Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 i'm so mad she's wasting her hype on a soundtrack

I think technically speaking Sunflower was not a lead single (album was released about a year later). But of course it performed extremely well so it’s in the album. Rih usually has a very clear vision for albums, so i’m not sure she would add a song that was initially planned for a different project. the good news is that we’re about to find out all the answers in the next few months
chaychay18 Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I cant believe **** is actually happening now! Like I want to cry but at the same time I dont want to get too excited until I see it on Apple Music. I was legit shook when I saw her superbowl post. I was in disbelief haha
ninasayers Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Makes sense for them to release the BP song(s) next week. Exciting.

unino Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 is she ready to milk this era? will the BP song be any indicator of her new album?
