zzmyth Posted April 10 Posted April 10 The interview is from february, and after that she did the India gig and has been in LA quite a lot too. Who knows??? I think she has not an album ready, and she is not rushed at all by her situation, she wants to take her time and do what she feels like doing, and she is in her right to do so. It's sad for us navy? yep. But I get it. Anyway... the photos are BEYOND. I missed this Aute Couture Rih. She used to do the FREAKING BEST PHOTOSHOOTS!!!! I still remember the first Italian Vogue in black and white!!!! Those photos!! 1

Homebrand Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I have this feeling her marketability has stagnated in the past 12 months or so and her brands have declined, obviously her marketability and appeal will always lie primarily in music so part of me believes she will be forced to come back to music sooner than later if Savage and FB are declining (or continue to decline, also this is all just me speculating before ya'll @ me). But the other half of me thinks she genuinely doesn't care and is just going to do whatever (or nothing), I feel like there's no direction for anything anymore I'm so over speculating

SxF is destined to die imo, she should sell it while it's worth something. Anyway, I don't want music from her if she's gonna make it to boost her brands lol. Give us a passion project or retire sis!

I could be wrong though 14 minutes ago, EliteNaviShit said: Anyway, I don't want music from her if she's gonna make it to boost her brands lol. Give us a passion project or retire sis! Don't you remember why she did the Superbowl? I said prior to the show that she was primarily doing it for the exposure for her and her brands and ya'll came for me and said music was coming in 2023

RihRihGirrrl Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Fenty Beauty continues to expand to new markets and be a standout cosmetic brand for the LVMH portfolio. Nothing about that indicates the brand is declining https://www.lvmh.com/news-documents/press-releases/2023-new-record-year-for-lvmh/ Perfumes & Cosmetics: Excellent momentum in fragrances and makeup The Perfumes & Cosmetics business group posted organic revenue growth of 11% in 2023 thanks to its highly selective retail policy and dynamic innovation strategy, backed by the scientific excellence of LVMH's research center. Profit from recurring operations was up 8%. Christian Dior achieved a remarkable performance, extending its lead in its key markets. Fragrances were once again buoyed by the success of iconic scents Sauvage, Miss Dior and J'adore, which was enriched with Francis Kurkdjian's latest creation, L'Or de J'adore. Makeup (with Dior Addict) and skincare (with Prestige and L'Or de Vie) also contributed to the Maison's growth. Guerlain continued to grow, driven by the popularity of its Aqua Allegoria line and its L'Art et la Matière high-end fragrance collection, as well as the excellent response to its Terracotta Le Teint makeup. Parfums Givenchy benefited from its fragrances' ongoing success. Benefit was buoyed by its The Porefessional skincare line, while Fenty Beauty posted robust growth, driven in particular by one of its latest innovations in mascara. 1

Not only that.... but FentyBeauty landed in China and India this year.... I mean... they combine almost as much people between them as there is all of europe, north america, south america, oceania and Africa combined....
EliteNaviShit Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Glad the base finally started to have discussions about our fave's active endeavours and what matters her the most! Once we stop talking about the numbers her ancient catalogue is pulling we'll all be healed. Seems like Fenty Hair is on the horizon too. Peep how she said "when" and not "if" she comes out. Love that for us!
RihRihGirrrl Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I still believe the album is coming this year.....it's now or never. There's no way she's gonna muster up the motivation to release another studio album ever again if she doesn't do it now. She will have more kids, more businesses, and more reasons to doubt herself. Sigh....why is she like this

HumanitySector Posted April 11 Posted April 11 It's kind of pathetic how she acts these days, what the hell was that interview? What does she mean she doesn't even have the songs yet, it's been 10 years and she has had all the possible resources in the world all this time? At this point it just looks like that music was never her passion after all and she was indeed an industry plant that labels used to push out quick lil singles.

Also like she's not a songwriter, producer nor a composer… Tell me HOW she's expecting to find these songs that's gonna fit her non existing visual ideas while actively and deliberately not working on them? Is she hoping to miraculously become inspired to make music by herself all of a sudden at 40 years old? Good luck making those songs you speak of dummy. I wish someone read this to her irl
HumanitySector Posted April 11 Posted April 11 On 4/9/2024 at 4:09 PM, EliteNaviShit said: As I said just now, she can't sit down and come up with songs by herself. She's never done that. She has all the resources and accessibility to the best of the best in the game to collaborate and have them bring her ideas come to life. There's people who would kill to make a song for Rihanna. She could make a pinterest moodboard and people would come to her with lyrics, demos, beats, full songs, ideas to make that shi come to life. She's choosing not to participate in any of that and expect us to believe that she's waiting to be enlightened and come up with the right songs? She can FOH You're on a roll 1
Allopatry Posted April 11 Posted April 11 FB is still doing fabulous and i don't see it slowing down like that. the only thing about FB is that there hasn't been any new products that people are instantly drawn to. when she first launched there was the foundation in the 40+ shades. then came body lava and the liquid lipstick that was really good. then she had a a few releases each year that would be pushing and cool. the last year or so, it's kind of been meh.

I disagree with this - people are allowed to evolve. She might not be so passionate about it now (and not sure we can say that either, regardless of that sh*tty interview and all the others where she just deflects and gives excuses) but she definitely was, in my opinion
EliteNaviShit Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I know damn well her "visual ideas" are just her imagining how her face paints and panties would look in a music video 3
