I fear she might actually be the one holding the videos hostage based off that interview.  At least drop a deluxe with the videos.

I think she is though. I mean if SZA is release this and next months it's probably better to wait anyway.

Based on Normani's interview it confirms my theory about Parris! They choreographed a setlist so this was just a test run of the new set list, transitions, song arrangements and choreography.

Now Normani is ready to tour the album and do festivals. The setlist feels festival ready too. I'm glad she has that figured out ahead of time. Lydia can focus on bookings for 2025! Things actually are getting back on track to promote the era and then she may tease a new song/era sometime next year.

If Parris does her tour...I won't be there. That choreo was terrible. Please bring Sean back lol.

Don't really get the hate Parris' choreography is getting. She can actually sing while dancing, something she couldn't really do with Sean's.

Do y'all know who choreographed 1:59 video? Maybe CP vídeo never came out because Sean did it.

I'm genuinely confused at the Parris hate. No shade to anyone but have people seen Tate's new video? How is she going to perform that live and sing?

Sean is going choreography crazy and forgetting these girls are still singers. Normani doesn't want to be the next Britney. She wants to be more like Mya or Ciara, the artists who dance and still sing live.

Parris is giving her movement and a distinct vibe. I like it especially the chair choreography. It's fun and nobody has done much of that lately except Teyana Taylor. :bird:

Parris' choreography is good.

But I really like Sean and his visual style, how he "creates shapes" with dancers like the below.
This was the teaser for Tate's video and it is just a pan shot of her pose.  Very Sean. It reminds me of how Wild Side video had that focused moment of Normani on the table.

I am guessing Sean is not part of the Dopamine project (I would have love to seen what he would have done with Lights Out)

But Parris is a good choice too.

Yes Sean is really good with flexibility and really pushing dancers. He makes the best videos and that's why Victoria Monet calls him for that but her tour choreographer is the lesser known Kiira Harper who's really good with stage stuff.

Sean Bankhead can do tours but it's clear a lot of artists see him more as a single/video or quick lil setlist choreographer then they team up with someone else for a full tour. This is why I see no problem with Normani finally trying new choreographers.

This is why I think Normani and her career keeps having issues. She is a Britney Spears type artist. There is nothing wrong with that. The problem is folks pushing something she isn't and then when she performs she gets hate because people expect her to be this singer that she's not. This has caused her to fear to perform. And the worst part is the backing vocals they are using are making it worst. They don't even sound live. People aren't dumb… they can tell when someone is lip syncing. Just OWN it and be the black Britney Spears. Put the hand mic away ..put on a HEADSET and DANCE!!

I'll never understand the criticism of lip syncing. EVERYONE does it! The best of them just don't make it obvious and are smart enough to re-record "live versions" with places muted out for live vocals. If you are gonna be a performer with heavy choreography, especially a solo act... mime away. It's not like she's up there Milli Vanilli. We know that's her voice on the track. She's not just standing up there lip syncing, home girl gon put on a show. Save them live vocals for a ballad.

Like imma need her to add them ad libs and runs she was doing in insomnia to the track or a cute live acoustic live version or something they was to good she's improved so much I did not expect her to ad-lip a unexpected Belt in the song that's  already prove of more confidence in her voice and abilities ….they really just need to turn her mic up people think she's lip syncing because she sounds just like the back track which is a good thing her mic should just be a little louder than the backing track and plus this was one of the few times she didn't have a live band other than that the performance was flawless I just wish we can get a least one more performance before the year ends but that would be asking for to much since the holidays are coming up

Now let's not get carried away. Normani has her moments where she can have hard hitting choreo like Britney but to me she is definitely more in line with Aaliyah and Janet.

Her biggest hits were more on the sensual and sultry side with moments of heavy hitting choreo. ( See Wildside.)

My issue is some of the movements in this choreo feel misplaced. Like the little hand movements in CP choreo. Like it makes the song feel very 1,2 skip to my Lou. When it should be more shape and movement driven. I think where Sean shines is the isolations and movements feeling in tune with the music and beat.

With Parris it can feel repetitive because her style is very distinct. It's composed of a lot of hip movement and a lot of straight lines in the arms and hands. I actually remember when her and her crew were on ABDC and I remember they were a lot more diverse in movement but I think they were actually getting some direction from other choreographers. Now I think after the show they found their niche and they stick to it.

However, Normani can do that style of dance but it has to be broken up. You can have very sharp and bouncing choreography for some of the songs she's doing.

i would love to see mani continuing to work with paris, and i wonder what her and brian friedman or jaquel knight could do alongside her. specifically, jaquel with candy paint.

So we're waiting for 2025 to release some visuals…can we at least get a dose 2 trailer or something

All Yours can still be a hit

I really thought we had good chance of her being on the Coachella line up ……… a artist like her would really thrive there and bring in some new fans and supporters

Well no Coachella for her!

You must lost yall minds. RCA ain't shelling out anymore money for this era. She supposedly used it all up on videos. Coachella would be nice but that requires money and because she thinks all we need is a mv to shut us up. That's what she's going to deliver on. Forget morning and late night performances; forget any lives or any post on social media; forget any real interaction with the fans that actually support you. We'll release a mv and all will be restored to 2020. No but for real she needs to be more active on social media and more present at events. Perform at one or 2 late night shows and I'll guarantee she could get at least a nod at next years Grammys. I mean look at Kehlani she was pretty much consistently releasing and as soon as she was pushed even a little bit more towards the rhythmic crowd she secured a nod.

the candy paint mv coming out a year later would be crazy… but i'm living for a possible january release for an all yours mv.

I'm shocked that people thought she'd get a Coachella slot without touring properly at least once.

Didnt it take 2 years for it to drop since the snippet too? So techncially 3 years LOL.

If she does drop videos she should just drop video for Xmas all at once. I hope she used these 6 months in the studio recording her second album. If she has to wait 6 months to promote an era she should just jump to the next era already.

Why did it take so long for these mvs and why haven't they been released yet?! Like we got a visual trailer of the album and that's it. Is it her team?
