B has been singing AND rapping since the late 90s and has an illustrious 20+ year long career and is still relevant enough to be compared to the likes of Tayble Smith. But you would rather have Billie singing some boring ass Bed of Lies ass ballad song because lord knows we need another nicki ballad! Really pushing the envelope guys!

And Beyoncé isn’t the only talented performer on this planet putting out quality work. Nicki has literally worked w almost everyone from Kim Petras to Katy Perry so cut out the bull about quality over quantity or working w/ ppl who are on Nicki’s level. 
 

Her strength has always been her versatility and she will do good working w/ younger artistes who are arguably more relevant and will expose Nicki to a younger audience. Taylor and Billie do put out quality work but some of y’all dinosaurs can’t seem to appreciate this because y’all are such hardcore bey stans

Ok let's be real for a second. There is a difference between Nicki featuring someone and someone featuring Nicki. I have no doubt that Onika would deliver at least decent verses for both Taylor's and Billie's albums. But I don't expect them to do the same for PF2. What can Taylor or Billie do on Nicki's album? I don't hear them on a rap song. R&b song is a possibility but I'd rather have an actual r&b singers like Jhene, Coco Jones or SZA that can truly deliver and not just soullessly sing the hook.

 

On the other hand, Nicki and Beyonce already proved that they have great chemistry together. Both of their collabs are great and Bey is more versatile. She can do pop, r&b and even spit some bars on a rap song. Their collab cannot really go wrong. And Nicki does't really need to expose herself to a younger generation. She's still very successfull. Isn't she only competing with Doja in terms of streaming numbers right now? I couldn't care less about numbers so maybe someone can elaborate more on that.

Fair point though I don’t agree that Taylor and Billie can’t contribute to a Nicki Minaj song. They’re both pop artistes so it’s a given that they will be delivering pop hooks - they’ve both got a voice that can sell the hook. Get on your knees had Ariana on the hook (would have been Katy Perry), Fly had Rih on the hook, B.o.B’s song Both of Us had Taylor on the hook. Even City Girl’s flashy had Kim Petras on the hook. It’s not that unusual or odd. So why is it difficult to imagine Taylor or Billie delivering a solid hook for Nicki? 
 

Ofc the 2 Beyoncé and Nicki collabs are iconic but why do we need more of the same? And Beyoncé hasn’t made an effort to get Nicki on her albums so why should Nicki beg her for a feature? 
 

and btw exposure to a younger audience isn’t just to get more streams - it helps w everything else like drawing ppl to her album tracks and selling out her tour
