AdrianNicki Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I bet she delayed the album so she can finally write and record BD's second verse. 1 1

SashaDevachelli Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Still don’t get the correlation to that performance and Whitney’s death (rip). They just needed any excuse to bump her outta there 1
thedeathbymusic Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 if only she had a album ready when SFG was #1 and she had her Vanguard performance lined up 2

Super Freaky Girl was a lucky accident and I would much rather Nicki's last album being something somewhat special and not a compilation of mid songs
SmittenCake Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I loved the Grammy performance back then, and I still love it today. I remember everyone was dissing it so hard. I only ever came across mixed or negative reactions, but it's been given the love it deserves in the past couple of years. A good example of something that's ahead of its time. Compare that to the bland performances we see today; no one is doing camp or theatrics anymore.
Queen. Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 The grammy performance was iconic, but I don't think we would ever get something like that ever again.
HEAVYONIT Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I really hope BD isn’t the best song on the album. You NEVER preview the best song on the album before it drops. 1
