I think there are no more megaviral moments left on the album for now (Carmen maybe?) but her still being a stable streaming and physical album artist despite no new album out in almost two years is very impressive.

Yes she outsold Beyonce too in overall pure sales.

That's crazy but I guess Mrs. Carter has also been pulling a Lana in terms of dropping new albums and then hiding out for the rest of the era :gaycat6:

In the grand scheme of the album, the two interludes aren't even that bad. I would actually say the Jon Batiste one is more of a chore to listen to … :lakitu:

Sweet is honestly such an underrated masterpiece. Like… this hymn :alexz:

Quiet on the Lana updates but came across some Lana tributes/covers from the past week:

I really will never forgive her for replacing the immaculate initial Rob Orton mix of West Coast with the album version mix.

Tamino talks about Lana in new Vogue France interview. She invited him to open for one of her shows back in 2019.

Would you add Lana Del Rey to this list?

Yes. She is one of the greatest living composers. "Video Games" has gone through the test of time, it's one of the greatest songs of all time. Whereas when she came out, we only talked about her physique, her lips...

When will we be able to listen to a collaboration between the two of you?

I'll have to ask her, I'm going to be there. I only met her once, she was incredibly kind. I will be eternally grateful to her for having called on me to open her show.

What's your favorite Lana Del Rey album?

I would say the last one, Did You Know there's a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard. But I also love Honeymoon. Not all the album, that said.

The eponymous song is great. How does it start already? "It's not fashionable to love me"?

"We both know that it's not fashionable to love me." We both know that it's not fashionable to love me. What a sentence. It's heartbreaking.
