Young In Love Posted August 11 Posted August 11 omg so i had the worst luck with Lana, i've stanned her for more than 12 years but somehow never managed to see her live in 2013 she came to my country but i was kinda too young to go alone and none of my friends were interested in 2020 i finally got a ticket but the tour was cancelled in 2023 the venue in Paris was for like 2000 people so i couldn't get a ticket now she's doing a festival here and i once again missed the sales or smt and also i hate festivals so that's why i was in no hurry to buy it however, a friend told me about the waiting list and i secured a ticket!!! i'm so ******* excited but it's also a bit of a bittersweet moment for me, it's a weird feeling to finally get something you wished for/waited for so long idk i just wanted to share my thoughts somewhere, 10 days will go by so fast 2
stjosephprey4us Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I think it's finally time to accept that Chemtrails is her best album, and no I'm not being sarcastic I WENT DOWN TO WOODSIDE!!! 2

Aethereal Posted August 20 Posted August 20 When it comes to Paradise Edition, can't take Ride off BTD. I don't care about streams but if you take it away it kinda losses a big song, quality wise. I wish Tunnel was still above 2M.
Club classic Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I would like to say Tunnel is my personal favorite Lana album. I can't believe how much of herself she'd poured into it. The themes of loss, fame, grief, legacy, happiness, lust, being criticized... It's very heavy but it's her best written record and I think her best produced one. No skips (apart from the interludes ). Each time I listen to it I appreciate it even more. Fingertips is probably in my top 10 favorite songs of all time... 2

She'll be amazing, I saw her for the second time in June.

She'll be amazing, I saw her for the second time in June. yesss i just came back and she was EVERYTHING i'm so amazed but also completely dead, never ever am i attending a festival again... so i got randomly reobsessed with Paradise this summer and i so regretted not seeing her during Paradise tour and imagined how she would sing Body Electric in 2024 and when she opened the show with that song i swear i almost collapsed, she did that for me then Without You next ugh (i did not expect those visuals and lightings it was sooo pretty) i always hated her dancers inclusion but honestly i was not bothered at all, there was always something going on on the stage, simply a visually stunning show this show really showcases LDR as the legend that she is today also it's such a kii that BTD still resonates with teenagers of today, these 12-13 years old girls singing every lyrics and sobbing to Y&B made me chuckle in my mind, but honestly i was eating those lyrics up too at the same exact age ahhh my only 2 negatives are West Coast (wtf was that) and Bartender (there are 100 better options Lana...) tl;dr i'm super happy with this show being my first Lana show and can't wait to see her again in a more intimate venue (a dream!) 1

STMG23 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 As a casual Lana fan I'd like to ask: Do we know something specific about 'Lasso'? Is there a release date?
roso Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Finally saw this queen The show was everything, she sounded/looked so good and loved the setlist Now I'm gonna need her to tour France more often cause mama the demand is here

May Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Welp, she just got cut off mid-performance for being late AGAIN
NOW Posted August 24 Posted August 24 (edited) More Lana stuff from her talented fellow artists: Chappell uses video clips of Lana's 2014 Coachella show when she sings the Lana line for Naked in Manhattan: Quote In 2022, Chatten said in a Big Read interview with NME that Fontaines D.C. and Del Rey could "do a really good tune together". "I just want to write some tunes with her," he explained at the time. "Her music leans into an era of cinema that I love, and she writes in a way where people can find stories in her music." Now, while speaking to NME about the imminent 'Romance', Chatten has been asked whether he'll try to track down the 'Born To Die' singer when Fontaines share the bill with her at R&L '24. "Yeah, I'm going to muscle my way past security and pitch the living **** out of our band to her!" he responded. "I'm going to bring all my Lana Del Rey records for her to sign as well." https://www.nme.com/news/music/fontaines-dc-grian-chatten-on-lana-del-rey-collab-reuniting-with-dexter-reading-leeds-2024-3785170 Quote Are there any artists you would like to collaborate with, and why? Oh, I do have a lot of international singers that I like. A dream collaboration would be to work with Queen. Their music is so influential to me and Freddie Mercury was an absolute idol of mine. I also really admire Lana Del Rey. Her unique musical style and approach to each project is so inspiring. https://www.rollingstone.co.uk/music/singer-songwriter-kun-interview-lana-del-rey-versace-42359/ Edited August 25 by NOW
stjosephprey4us Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Ngl, I wouldn't mind if she takes the rest of 2024 and 2025 off from releasing an album and just waits until 2026 for LDR10. We've gotten an album every 1-2 years for the past decade, it would be interesting to see how she does with a longer break… Spoiler However, that being said, I would 100% need the Christmas covers album at the end of this year in the mean time, as well as poetry book #2 mid next year to make the wait bearable
