NOW Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Stevie deserved to be on a much better song than what they gave her... 16 hours ago, ontherocks said: You made it sound as if she's performing Um she better be with all of the campaigning she's been putting in lately 13 hours ago, VeniceBeach said: Music To Watch Boys To is lowkey her best instrumental... We need it to go viral on TikTok So much of Honeymoon has really adventurous instrumentals if more people got around to giving it a good listen. It's not as aggressive as Dan Auerbach or Emile Haynie's works but it's got its own distinct sound, probably the most sonically cohesive album she's put out to this day. 2

Everytime a Lana song pops up in TikTok people just ask what song it is. They don't do that for other artists. Immense quality correlated with longevity, all she is needs is some hype.

People will discover the sound on TikTok, find it missing on streaming, and then scour Youtube/Soundcloud/fansites to download the song. I get it because that used to be me when a new song leaked practically every day

Aethereal Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 (edited) Tunnel should be over 200K in pure sales and BTD must be approaching 2.1M in pure sales without the EP or shipments. UK sales (pure sales only) for BTD tracks. (I would do other eras too but track sales are dead and the rest of Lana's albums have weak numbers too) Born to Die era Video Games - 500,000 (last updated 490K in Oct 2014) Born To Die - 302,000 (as of 2017) Blue Jeans - 100,000 (last updated at 98k in Oct 2014) National Anthem - 9,000 (Oct 2014) Without You – 2,049 (Oct 2014) Summertime Sadness - 650,000 (including the remix, last update at 2017) Paradise era (last updated Oct 2014) Blue Velvet - 8,203 Ride - 20,000 Burning Desire - 1,375 Body Electric - 1,481 Bel Air – 1,296 Gods & Monsters - 1,575 Cola - 1,999 American - 1,565 1.6M tracks sold in UK from BTD era. The rest of the album: ~15,000 at minimum (considering all the reported tracks so far have sold over 1,200) France - Video Games ~ 250K (estimated at 181k in late 2012) Born To Die ~37k Ride ~1k Blue Jeans ~42k Over 300k tracks in France Edited January 1, 2024 by Aristotle

In all seriousness, if true, 2024 could be such a big year for her. If she manages to snatch a Grammy or two, album still charting, headlining Coachella, all the festivals in Europe later on, I am almost tempted to say that a new album should come out better sooner than later and no, not an album with Nikki or a covers album, but an actual follow up to Tunnel

Just that second poetry book she is trying to rewrite after it was stolen.
Aethereal Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 @NOW NFR! was at 187K pure sales in early January 2021, I wonder if it has crossed the 230K pure sales like in ChartMasters yet? I estimate roughly 160K vinyl sales outside of Tunnel and BTD sales. (It was a total of 501K vinyl sales in early November and it should be +520K by now) So that gives an average 23K vinyl sales per the average album (outside of obvious two mentioned) this year. LFL and UV got re-released so those two should be above the average while NFR! must have sold 20K vinyls as a safe guess this year. Too much assumptions but maybe I am accurate.
