Not Miss Daytona Meth being taken down. :noparty: The end of an era, thank goodness I still have everything on my computer! She better be releasing a very long unreleased collection then.

Does anybody else need more time with Tunnel still? Idk how I feel about it currently, after loving it upon releasing, obsessing over Kintsugi and Fingertips etc, I don't touch the album now and only think of Paris, Texas.....

If an Unreleased Collection album is coming WOO :jonny4: maybe it'll generate enough revenue to pay for more Ocean Boulevard/LDR10 music vids so she won't have to beg us to watch CN more than once xndndndnd

They’re not terrible but I always thought White Mustang and Candy Necklaces getting single/visual treatment was.. a choice (the latter was good though)

I am so glad Lana was picked to contribute for the soundtrack of the best Disney remake. This is the one of the few Disney remakes I would rewatch. (in spite of Lana of course)

It really got me thinking, since Cardi's Wap video costed 2M dollars, how cheap are Lana's video? :toofunny3:

The revenue from YT views paid all the cost and turned a profit alone.

The ones that are shot by actual directors are definitely not cheap, especially from the earlier eras. She also seems to rely less and less on CGI/special effects but when they are used, it's very intentional to the video's narrative. It's also worth noting she's one of the few popular artists who hasn't done explicit product placements in their videos. I always felt like it ruined the vibe every time videos randomly cut to closeups of their sponsored stuff.

I meant in comparison with other artists. Video Games had almost nothing in it, Summertime Sadness had one actress, Blue Jeans had a male model and a doll alligator with a pool house rented. Born to Die and National Anthem could've costed more though.

I doubt the costs of all of her videos during BTD era exceeded 150K dollars. When you have great music you don't need gimmicks.

Pepsi would probably refuse to sponsor her because of the sexual content, if Cola got a video. :ahh:

She works with some smart and experienced people. Rich Lee had to get crafty with the LFL visuals when they ran out of budget and they turned out beautiful

The fact that the ocean tide scene in West Coast wasn’t a green screen is pretty wild

I wonder if Say Yes to Heaven was released as a single for Ultraviolence how much would it affect the album's sales? Maybe it could cross the million in pure sales?

Posted

I'm curious why did she scrap Purify (Zodiac) from the album.
