BravoTangoWhiskey Posted January 1 Posted January 1 It actually annoys me so much that they don’t use Kelly’s music on the wayfair ads

Theres a few duds for me... especially on the deluxe but overall theres so many great song on there. But HOW IN THE WORLD did they not have a huge Whitney/Mariah-esque last refrain on Lighthouse? This song is SO good and it has so much potential. It deserves a longer extended/single version. I will forever be upset about this decision especially considering the bridge (for me) doesn't feel very climatic so the song, while beautiful, runs out of steam and momentum after the second chorus. Still a wonderful ballad but it so easily could have been elevated further. Happy to see Kelly continue to cement herself as a holiday force. She really deserves it considering how masterful her Christmas originals are I've been listening to Chemistry (song), Magic, Mine, Roses and Down to You a lot lately. The album really does have some amazing songs, selfishly I just hope we don't have to wait quite as long for a follow up 1
MJ Boston Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Used To Be Young was the Kellyoke she sang at the show taping I went to a few weeks ago. It was AMAZING live and I’ve been dying for a full version so I’m super happy about this. She crushed it and really made me love the song.
BravoTangoWhiskey Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) Now that Spotify has updated its streams for 31st of December, I've updated my Spotify spreadsheet. As always, there are some things to have in mind, and some limitations: Some songs and remixes weren't on previous years' data collections due to regional availabilities (which also has a knock-on effect for the overall increases) I view each album as a project, therefore I count remixes and live versions of songs towards an album (like how many chart collectors do). Since kworb started giving us data, it's worth noting that their data, while being absolutely amazing, is not comprehensive and also has inconsistencies, such as duplicates of certain songs (see UTM 69m and 66m). If you want a look at the raw data, here is the viewing link for the spreadsheet, just have a browse to the tab you want Spoiler https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VieaybKINqXaDP8gZiW1bXnJ6Ku7yO4XM83yyzv_oCQ/edit?usp=sharing Standout numbers: Total streams (on my count): 5,911,879,409 (+1,080,896,290) Atlantic projects: 1,257,292,530 (+345,817,935) RCA projects: 4,649,929,667 (+730,421,243) Each project/era: Thankful: 152,664,021 (+20,052,392) Breakaway: 1,691,128,974 (+274,327,429) My December: 36,574,451 (+3,185,953) All I Ever Wanted: 311,247,757 (+44,650,677) Stronger: 844,177,751 (+128,152,843) Greatest Hits: 105,616,228 (+8,246,478) Wrapped In Red: 880,789,710 (+197,691,214) Piece By Piece: 534,850,894 (+38,249,633) Meaning of Life: 249,808,143 (+15,656,660) When Christmas Comes Around...: 340,297,405 (+134,354,944) chemistry: 86,910,235 (+86,910,235) Kellyoke: 68,853,612 (+37,487,020) I Dare You: 48,827,403 (+3,741,287) Trolls World Tour: 57,267,403 (+12,062,445) Ugly Dolls: 153,689,355 (+19,090,664) Kelly Clarkson Live 2016: 11,759,306 (+3,259,823) Other Atlantic: 239,879,668 (+33,254,757) Other RCA: 92,879,881 (+11,864,624) Top songs: Spoiler Overall: Because of You (all versions) - 650,902,902 (+95,279,269) Since U Been Gone (all versions) - 641,155,215 (+119,777,626) Underneath The Tree (all versions) - 638,440,475 (+156,679,047) Stronger (all versions) - 611,582,059 (+108,176,199) Heartbeat Song (all versions) - 255,170,013 (+18,370,381) Breakaway (all versions) - 217,598,693 (+38,636,127) My Life Would Suck Without You (all versions) - 190,155,786 (+32,582,106) Piece By Piece (all versions) - 181,251,968 (+16,353,816) Santa, Can't You Hear Me (all versions) - 142,086,935 (+70,301,343) Broken & Beautiful - 137,789,925 (+15,814,787) Edited January 2 by BravoTangoWhiskey 2

BravoTangoWhiskey Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Ariana Grande’s team is being very smart and releasing her lead this week, capitalising on the Xmas listeners

BravoTangoWhiskey Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Kelly has put “best of (and chemistry out now)” as her artist pick on Spotify and “lighthouse” is first song (although it also appears later down the order at #9). Maybe they are gearing up to actually push it (a radio impact date would be a start lol)
BravoTangoWhiskey Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Kelly should do a duet with Rihanna given the recent articles Spoiler If she can get her away from the makeup and sock brands

Admiral Bobbery Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Final Christmas Update (now that Billboard and other national charts have updated for Christmas week): 2023 Chart Peaks Underneath The Tree Hide contents Global 6 (NP) Netherlands 7 (NP) Germany 7 (NP) Canada 7 (NP) Austria 8 (NP) Australia 9 (NP) Switzerland 10 (NP) USA 11 (NP) New Zealand 11 (NP) UK 13 Belgium (Flanders) 13 (NP) Luxembourg 13 (NP) Portugal 14 Singapore 16 Lithuania 18 Ireland 18 Greece 19 Czech Republic 20 (NP) Belgium (Wallonia) 21 (NP) Slovakia 22 Hungary 23 Poland 29 (NP) Norway 31 Denmark 34 Croatia 35 (first time entering) Sweden 44 (NP) South Korea 46 (NP) Finland 46 (first time entering) France 47 (NP) Spain 71 (new all time peak) Notable takeaways: New peaks in Canada, both regions of Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, France, and enters the Croatian charts for the first time. Wrapped in Red Hide contents Netherlands 9 Germany 10 Canada 21 USA 30 Notable Takeaways: Almost cracks the top 20 in Canada again. Re-enters the top 30 in the USA for the fourth year. When Christmas Comes Around Hide contents New Zealand 19 Netherlands 44 Canada 49 Switzerland 56 USA 57 Germany 65 Belgium (Flanders) 147 Notable takeaways: Managed to crack the charts in 7 territories this season. That's even more than WIR did (though it did not chart near as high in most territories). I did not expect to see this album start to chart overseas like it is considering how long it took for WIR to crack into overseas markets like Germany and the Netherlands, especially considering how huge UTT is compared to SCYHM. Ericjtsang Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I personally don't think she's on ozempic given her thyroid issues - her words sometime in the past about having thyroid issues. It sucks that every comment is about the drug. We've seen her drop weight relatively quickly (2018), it just seems that's how her body responds to diet and exercise. She's also not tall, so any weight loss is amplified on her. IMO, while she has lost a lot of weight, she isn't Christina Aguilera, Oprah, Sharon Osbourne levels who seem to actually be on it. They are rail thin, while Kelly still looks healthy. It's really none of my business and it's her choice, but if she says she is following the doctor, I believe her 1

And that’s why she couldn’t keep it off. In ‘22 she really let herself go and was at her heaviest since pbp era. And took her until this year to make a change again. And this change genuinely feel like her choice ❤️ 1
BravoTangoWhiskey Posted January 4 Posted January 4 It seems the Grammy voting period is ending imminently, I wonder if the People magazine article was part of that campaign (timing would be a bit off) or if it’s a pivot to start the narrative of change away from the divorce in preparation for something else. It does seem like her celebrity status atm is bigger than it has been in a minute! 1

Ericjtsang Posted January 4 Posted January 4 being realistic and not that votes are public, but she will likely be blown out due to Taylor/Miley/Olivia, or the longshot, she'll sneak the win because those 3 will split the votes. Or those 4 will split and Ed will win
