I do wonder if Kelly will throw her hat at one more single from chemistry in the new year, or whether chemistry was sort of a cathartic experience and she just wanted to get it out and move on. Especially as she’s doing so much better and might want to distance herself from the divorce narrative. - and that she looks like she’s got the fire in her belly again since doing Vegas and moving to NYC!
 

If it’s a case of the latter, I hope that the next “era” they do a 2 proper singles before releasing the album, given that this period of music consumption is very much single orientated. - and how they botched the single choices this era. Anyways, it’s a great body of work, just wish it got the attention it deserves.
 

In terms of a streaming update, WCCA (and remixes & live) has overtaken MoL on Spotify and should cross 300m total streams (again all versions of songs) this Christmas season. It has increased (just shy of) 70m so far in 2023. Given chemistry is currently at 84.5m it looks like WCCA is going to be a little annual money maker for Atlantic - quite good for them if it was a compromise project.

 

on the same note, all versions of songs from WIR have increased over 110m this year and will pass 800m total in a day or two. Her Christmas discography has really gone way over last year (which was a stellar year). 185m total so far (compared to 245m last year)

Ariana was down again on Spotify for yesterday streams and Kelly was almost even with her US total. Her team put back the original on the playlists today. Kelly was also #12-13 yesterday on Apple streaming US and STM was #19 so fingers crossed everyone. Final prediction usually comes out on Saturday.

Hope for the best, it doesn't seem like SZA dropped anything at least not yet.

 

Kanye is delayed as per usual, but who knows when/if that will be. or if it will even be a factor when it does drop.

Honestly, I don't think it's even worth releasing anything from Chemistry anymore, if they were to release it like they're doing with Lighthouse, they completely ignored the song, it didn't even have an impact date, there are no playlists supporting the song, they did absolutely nothing, they shelved it Belasco, she doesn't even talk about the subject anymore, there's no clip, there's nothing, this era is stillborn, this record label is rubbish, Kelly doesn't have a team, not even to post the Today show videos on her official channel, they don't give a **** real.

Me too but not sure if these are the same type of streams as it’s less than last week (not sure why they would all be down in streams). I can’t access hits daily doubles last week ones. Hope this is enough for Kelly to slid into the top 10! Let’s go Kelly! 
 

also Ariana was #8 in streaming last week it showed on that chart. She’s #11 this week and Kelly stayed at #9
