everyone keeps saying to exchange songs but let's just add one or two. I know Kelly's songs are far from easy to sing but she can do it if we're only doing 2 or 3 shows a week.

however if we NEEDED to remove any then I'd be fine with Breakaway or Because of You. I adore BOY don't get me wrong but not having a permanent song from MD on the set is something I NEED. I'm still hoping we get some sort of concert or string of shows celebrating anniversaries of her records.

I'm also hoping she does come through with the Christmas shows she was talking about on the lives.

On Kelly’s Spotify, her playlist’s name is now 3 wilting rose emojis… I guess roses is the focus track out of the deluxe songs (whether or not it’s the single is to be seen)

It seems like the album tracks are streaming comparatively well looking at her previous releases.. she's just missing that single to push the overall streams up since being with Atlantic. Let's see if they bother to push anything from the standard or deluxe in the next few weeks...

Is the KCshow still happening next season with the strike going on? Is there any news regarding this?

 

It seems like she has much more free time now because the show is at the very least being postponed. You would think that would equalize in some promo… the strike is only US based and there is enough ground to cover.

I think we'll see a promo blitz for the deluxe album in a few weeks. She's performing on the Today show. Hopefully means she feels more comfortable promoting it now than she did in June when the strikes were in their earlier phases.

I'm just going to say that I don't think she needed to cut the promo as severely as she did for the writers strike. I kinda think her team convinced her to "stand" with the writers given the bad promo with the talk show about the staff. 
 

that said, I still really loved her podcast circuit. It was cool to get some much depth from her interviews. I just feel like it would have been fine to perform mine, me, or FKOH on the voice. Kylie performed Padam on idol that same week and nobody gave her a hard time for it

Speaking of promo, what do you think will be promo sensitive (aka translate into streams) from the standard version? I’m kinda on the side that I think lighthouse would probably be the most promo sensitive there, but also wouldn’t put it past a song like I hate love (and yes I think that ship has sailed). DTY flashmob had most views on insta, me had most on tiktok

Something is in the works, and it's more "one-off" like Belasco.

If her team had their way she'd be doing a LOT more. Kelly is in full control over what she does and does not do. Don't forget that.

Drew and JHud will begin filming their new seasons in about 2 weeks. Sherri and Tamron Hall will also begin filming, but their shows weren’t affected by the WGA strike. With Drew and JHud (surprisingly) set to resume filming, I think TKCS might also start, but not confirmed. 
 

The only promo so far for the deluxe is the Today Show concert and the iHeart Radio concert the next day. Hopefully we’ll get other things. 
 

Besides The Voice performance, I don’t think there was much else she could do back in June. She cut that because it was on the same lot where TKCS films and she had a lot of staff members who weren’t getting paid. She made the right choice. Everything else was shut down because of the strikes. (Late night shows and TKCS)

Broadcast schedules will feature a mix of sports, musical acts, unscripted shows, series acquired from Canada and the U.K., and shows that have already aired on streaming platforms.
