DoubleRainbow! Posted July 12 Posted July 12 are we all ready for that 20 rate on Metacritic once the album is out?

LionH3art Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I'm so annoyed with all the negativity from all sides. People are so hateful for nothing. 4

How is that possible? The best advice I can give you for those music forums that are obsessed with bullying people, because that's the only thing that gives them happiness; ignore them, literally. Click that magic button and they will disappear. When I enter some of Katy's threads, I see only ignored people. It's a sad way to live your life. But they just try to save themselves from their complexes, instead of going to a psychologist. They only think about the next negative thing to do. I see them as mental cripples, a broken train full with twisted and sad souls. They only deceive themselves. Sadly, if they want to get better, they have to react, but that's too much for them. It is easier to spew negativism and wear the badge of moralist. A person who is mentally healthy won't get happiness from seeing other people's misery. Just grey rock them. Iaintsorry Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I'm sad there doesn't seem to be that many Katy fans on the forum. Therefore the hate is def more prevalent than for other pop girls 1
XxxKatyCatxxX Posted July 12 Posted July 12 (edited) Cats, what's funny in the end of the day is how the moral police was breaking their legs to come and post how bad the song is, even though they said they won't listen/stream it. Edited July 12 by XxxKatyCatxxX 1
Tistotal Posted July 12 Posted July 12 listening to Legendary Lovers after WW is such an experience It sounds even better
ThomasTea Posted July 12 Posted July 12 We are war veterans at this point after Witness and Smile. Ready for 143 and all the hate. 1

I'm enjoying everything bout this era, enjoying the weather, minding my business. Those miserables are wasting their life away. 1 1
LionH3art Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Yeah not going to waste my energy, only spreading positivity 1
AmericanIdol Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I think it can still do well long term with some playlisting. I don't know why Capitol didn't spend some coins on it.
Phaunzie Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) Well, I am unbothered and literally happy to finally have new material to listen to. With f5ve and Katy dropping on the same day, my weekend is already golden. Edited July 13 by Phaunzie
XxxKatyCatxxX Posted July 13 Posted July 13 At least my country is liking song, it's trending on Youtube, sadly she will never come here. She hate Eastern Europe.
hummingbird12 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 This whole era… she should have partnered up with the new inside out movie to have some cute soundtrack song that could do good (not like cant stop the feeling but cute top 30) just to put her name out there. Or maybe a collab with a rapper or some dj for the same reason. once the hype is there, start to build an album role out strategy with listeners panel (not fans but random people), music influencers etc to see what is clicking with the public. Having cca 15 songs that ppl rate with an open answers will give you sn information which songs need to be cut, what are potential singles and which are good but sound dated, corny etc. Then start teasing. donno why they didn't replicate Prism - Pepsi strategy close to an album release -gaiving the public / fans a chance to unlock the full songs based on the snippets. They gave us WOA and DH and ofc DH won and from that moment everything became history. WOA on the other hand has found its flowers among general LGBT community. to sum up 1. Get her out there with a soundtrack on a well recieved movie/cartoon or a collab on a record by some rapper od a DJ 2. once the album is almost done, conduct some public survey to see the feedback and adjust the album (cut the bad ones, maybe record another one or two songs, select potential singles) 3. Engage the public and fans to create the buzz by offering a chance to choose the single based in a snippets
Tistotal Posted July 16 Posted July 16 It's incredible how is the perfect match between Smile and Witness. It's the hate train from Witness and the bomb from Smile. It's interesting to think if her team has something planned for second single. 1
Illyboy Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) I was looking for that Stan Twitter Utada Hikaru video and found this gem among the search results: that was so smooth, as if the belt was meant to go there. Edited July 21 by Illyboy clarify that im not roasting, just in case
Mordecai Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Had MTV Music in the background on my tv and Small Talk just played. I can't believe I used to stan a song with a bridge that was quite literally 'blah blah blah blah'
