popstickle Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I was so excited for the KP6 era as she seemed so confident and excited for it but all my hopes have died today If Katy has gone back to Dr Luke, it'll feel like such a regression (as well as disappointing after everything that happened with him and Kesha). While Witness and Smile aren't her best albums, they have some of her most interesting songs production wise - e.g. Bon Apetit, Tsuamni, 365, Never Really Over, Harley's in Hawaii and When I'm Gone, which are also more modern sounding too. She doesn't need Dr Luke. And then hearing that the lyrics are cringe hasn't helped either at all I hope I'm proven wrong but my anticipation has gone from 100 to 0. 1
