but I agree with your points. Maybe bec I was new to the forum around 2017-18 but I distinctly remember having more support in the forum during her Havana era. While she had haters then, they werent as loud as now, especially since Camila keeps giving ammo herself. Ofc it didnt help that her fanbase is a delusional cult so….

I remembered being interested in her when she left 5H ( a group I didn't really care for in the first place...hell I didn't like Normani til Love Lies ) but her stanbase on here quickly became insufferable  and that killed it. I liked She Loves Control and In To It from the first album and My Oh My from the second ( Senorita I got into a bit after it got overplayed to death) . I'll eventually listen to this third album but she's never truly found her footing and with her cult stanbase in here and on social media I don't think she ever had a chance despite how good her music could get. It's a shame.

I think it's very interesting (or weird) how Camila triggers something on her haters (or lovers?) that makes them write all of these master thesis and crazy obsessive theories about her personal life, her music, her voice, her fanbase, her chart numbers, how she "desperately calls for attention", etc.

 

I feel like in some kind of reverse psychology, you guys really love her in any aspect, or there's something about her that you guys wish you (or your faves) had.

 

It's cute how you always compare a "really bad artist" like her with your amazing A-list successful talented singers, though. It means Camila is relevant and she's clearly bothering, after all.

Camila is harmless, I don’t think most people here have anything personal against her (except the racist tumblr i guess but Justin has said worse and doesn’t get dragged as much so i don’t think it’s just that) but i do think if your fellow fanbase spent more time supporting her music and less time attacking more successful artists like Dua, Ariana, Billie, Olivia etc. nobody would feel the need to come for your fave. Y’all brought this on yourselves

I hate both of them equally and for the same reason. From what I’ve seen Justin gets a lot of hate here too.
