Rocket Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. A BOMB

Theluckyone Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Expected. Eeks. I stand by my 25-28k prediction.

MonsterNavy Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 (edited) after all the Shawn Mendes relationship and break up PR stunt, having Ed Sheeran aka the biggest male streaming monster out there on the lead single, hopping on the Latin trend and Willow Smith bandwagon i'm glad this talentless chipmunk racist that sounds like a dying whale on every song in her discography is officially over Edited April 10, 2022 by MonsterNavy
MonsterNavy Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 so its really confirmed her albums only do decently because of other artists/collabs? her only successful songs: her debut album - young thug with havana and kane brown 2nd album - shawn and dababy 3rd album - ed sheeran and willow she's such a talentless trendhopping loser
Letemtalk Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 (edited) Her fans keep saying this is a Latin album, so perhaps we should be expecting this to go #1 across Latin America. Does anyone know which countries she is getting the most streams and most likely to go #1. Edited April 10, 2022 by Letemtalk

305 Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Definitely disappointing, no way to spin this. Her image is just not in a good place right now, making people not interested in listening to her also that she has many Spanish songs on the album. Still a good album and I believe it will have legs.
rta1913 Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I hope this humbles her stans. It’s kind of sad her career has never really taken off, there was so much potential. I feel like her team don’t know how to market her other than the Latin girl (which apparently is only what the GP responds to). The album is decent, you can make a cute EP out of it. But it is NOT a latin album and it’s not a Spanish album (2 out of 11 songs). Hasta los dientes could be a decent hit but her stans are already hoping for a smash, pop is not smashing in LATAM unless you are a big name so please lower your expectations.
Shaner69 Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Her team has invested so much money in her. With zero results. This new direction seemed like a good idea but she never established herself. She doesn't have a solo hit. She needed a strong solo single to elavate her status. This never happened in her career. Like it could have but she's just using other artists to try to get hits. I kinda feel bad for her but at the same time I feel maybe she will be humbled along with her fans.
Marianah Adkins Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Her fans need this. Constantly coming for stars like Ari, Selena, Billie, Olivia and Dua didnt do her career any favors. And to think that once upon a time, the forum was rooting for Havana’s success, only to turn into a hatetrain as her fans began to brag her beyond her powers.

Their mistake was not releasing “She Loves Control” as the third single. That’s when her momentum derailed.

Yep as soon as they went with that awful Pharrel song instead of SLC I knew they were in trouble. Havana was practically a miracle, nobody expected her to actually get a mega worldwide smash hit comparable to the smashes is that launched the careers of Beyoncé (solo), Gaga, Katy etc. but she ******* did it, followed it up with another solid hit, she just needed one more hit to solidify herself. If SLC had been a big hit in summer 2018 she would’ve firmly staked out her territory before Ariana had her TUN moment and before Billie blew up. Instead by late ‘18 those two among others had taken all the attention.
davorincek Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Smile numbers God help her. But no one was expecting much

Never Be the Same was very good and then "She Loves Control" should have got a push. It would have done well.
TNWWY Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Why are people surprised? This woman only has 1 solo top 40.

From when she left the group her stans have been insufferable. I remembered them going after Bey and Gaga BEFORE the bomb we don't speak of Crying in the Club came out. She's been a struggle bus since DAY ONE. The only time ATRL were for here was when success stans were praising Havana goin #1 but the stans got delusionally brace again and try to drag EVERY ARTIST and by the time NBTS cane out ATRL was back to hating her again. If she wasn't asking for attention every 5 min, heavily relying on collabs and gimmicks to get hits, and not have the 2nd most despised stanbase on this site ( we know who's the worst and no...it def ain't the Little Monsters) ATRL would care about her more like a Latin Lorde. But nope and the racist blog was the last straw.
