I think there's a big difference between the two. Jack has been embraced by major Hip Hop figures, Post Malone was not.

 

And he is "coming across" more authentic than any other white rapper since the guy named after chocolate candy.

 

Don't care for this song outside of the hook tho.

In the US, I wouldn't say freefalling but the Spotify numbers are doing comparatively worse than AIW first week despite having an edge at the beginning:

 

Day 1:  As It Was: 5,953,134 | First Class: 5,962,326 = +9,192 for First Class

Day 2: As It Was: 3,508,650 | First Class: 4,096,221 = +587,571 for First Class (total: +596,763 for First Class)

Day 3: As It Was: 2,974,498 | First Class: 3,071,092 = +96,594 for First Class (total: +693,357 for First Class)

Day 4: As it Was: 3,334,761 | First Class: 3,150,371 = +184,390 for As It Was (total: +508,967 for First Class)

It's currently at day 13 and since Day 6 it had a 6.3% decrease (today: 9,634,378 global streams). I don't think Jack Harlow is performing badly, but I think if he wants to stay on top (US, he hasn't been #1 on global since day 2) he's gonna have to release a music video or remix, which he probably will, soon.

I don't know how much better it's doing tho. It kinda freefell on iTunes, it's a non-factor on YouTube, and it's below Harry on Amazon and Deezer. While it probably is doing better on Apple Music than on Spotify, how much better... idk! We'll see when the numbers come out.

 

He definitely has the #1 in the US this week. But unless he releases something for next week, it's looking like Harry will take it back.

He wasn't? He has songs with Travis Scott, Young Thug, DaBaby, Cardi B, Ty Dolla Sign, Big Sean, Lil Baby, Migos, 21 Savage, Future, and ASAP Rocky.
