Not 63k being enough for #1 :deadvision:

Kind of expected more from RHCP, I was told they have a big fan base. Bag that top spot though :clap3:

I did also expect a bit more but their last album did 110k first week in 2016 so 63k seems about right.

More than Coldplay with a #1 (who used to outsell them with ease) and a bit less than Foo Fighters.

wil atrl's fav pop gurls be able to top the chart after 40yrs :clap3:

Madonna did so in 2019, 37 years after her debut.

Celine also did so in 2019, 38 years after her debut.

They’re not low, and I would say HDD may be lowballing on this considering she just got 4 songs in spotify top 50. We’ll see if the songs would hold up.

I mean

- everything he released last year bombed
- he delayed the album to this year because Papercuts tanked
- this year he released 3 singles in 7 weeks because nothing stuck
- critics trashed the album
- he's overexposed
- his reputation is in the gutter
- his multiple public feuds and his relationship with Megan Fox are more talked about than his music
- the tour isn't selling that well outside of a few big cities

They are not very good predicting live performances boosts these days. They also underpredicted Eminem and Dr. Dre's numbers after the Super Bowl

Olivia's numbers will probably be higher

6k more than Coldplay when allegedly they're forgotten in the US while RHCP maintained their fan base is hardly something to brag. Hopefully the global sales will come through, the album is nice :gaycat6:

wait what? fine line and HTE above 30?:deadbanana4:

Considering Coldplay went from nearly doubling their first week sales to selling 6k less with a #1 hit and the fact that they debuted 15 years after them, I would say yes that actually is something to brag about.

It shows that RHPC clearly retained their fanbase better in the U.S :gaycat6:

I was told My Universe was not a genuine hit though, what happened to that? :coffee:

6k is not any worlds apart of distance no matter how we spin it, I wonder how the second week will play out :gaycat6:

Where in the world is 30? I knew it fell out of top 10, but top 20 too? :rip:

I mean, it's #29 in B200 this week, so I assume it will be around that number or lower, the album really came and went, sadly.

What's so surprising? Billie performed at the Grammys and Harry released a huge comeback single that helped his catalog music to increase on streaming  (the same way 21 & 25 increased when Adele released EOM).

Billie still Top 20 :clap3:

See when you do 30 trackery…

But seriously, his listeners are not getting tired of that album it’s insane :rip: It feels like it will end up the #1 album of the decade at this point.

Dangerous broke Come On Over's 50-week #1 record, tied in 2020 by Luke Combs, on Top Country Albums a couple of weeks ago. COO is Double Diamond. Dangerous is I guess 4XP?

Yes! A #1 album by some1 older than me! But I have my doubts that any1 after Pharrell's Happy will reach #1 on the Hot 100 thats older than me now. Technically Mariah Carey did in 2019 but with a 1994 song. Brenda Lee could I guess but with a 1958 song.

The way 30 never recovered after dropping out of the top 10. :skull:

But both used album/ticket bundles. I kind of liked those since they helped sales but Madonna & Celine probably wont get close to #1 now again.

Nnn the way sales are going, it looks to me that Familia may top the chart next week, no?

Yeah, she just needs 55k because RHCP are obviously falling next week

Let's see if Camila can sell those 55k units because sales are really tragic  :rip:

back in 2018:

jack white 124k, third consecutive #1 debut

camila 119k

idk how bundle-y jack was and how loyal his fans have been since then but.

Did Camila have bundles? If no then she might edge it.

She had bundles for Romance but I don't think she had bundles for her debut album
