The first verse is better but 2nd verse has the exciting flow imo. I’ve noticed rap fans tend to value flow and cadence over lyrics, whether they want to admit it or not. Drake has a great flow and tone, which helps his popularity. At the end of the day, music has to sound pleasing to the ears before anything else.
