Alex Posted April 14 Posted April 14 she'll be on at 7:30am my time so I guess it's a good reason to wake up early. I have high hopes for this set considering she has big shoes to fill and Parris Goebel on the team now 2

professor2000 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I lied. I stayed up and watched. My goodness at that ending. 2
Cheers Posted April 15 Posted April 15 As someone who LOVES Scarlet, I enjoyed it! However, this is what the Scarlet tour should've been like.. not COACHELLA! Ending with Wet Vaginar was such a choice. She should've done more choreo/songs in the mud. Also why were there no choreo moments when she was elevated? She didn't even say bye I couldn't believe she ended it like that I can see everyone hating it unfortunately. But she's so talented.. her vision and execution is just a little interesting lol.
masochizm Posted April 15 Posted April 15 that was amazing i'm glad she didn't give a rehash of her 2022 performance… both very different and very excellent oh the superstar she is
chiliam Posted April 15 Posted April 15 omg ATRL really doesnt care about this girl anymore. She just give THE PERFORAMNCE at Coachella and no one on ATRL talking That Demon and Wet ****** are one for the books, the whole thing is just insane from the set to the outfit to the live vocal. She is really the best performer of the newer girls. My only complain is she put the hits toward the end too much, the 1st half could use a couple more hits to make the energy higher 1
Brooklyn Baby Posted April 15 Posted April 15 She was amazing Too many Scarlet songs for my liking but she is a PERFORMER
Sabandija Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Is there a thread for her performance? What was the setlist? Nobody seems to be talking about her.
Alex Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I have a lot of thoughts. Let me try and summarize lol Pros: - As expected, her stage presence was GREAT. The mic was ON and she still has that charisma that you can't take away from her. - I will admit she did sell some songs better on the stage than in the studio (97 for example) - Stage design looked cool asf. I admire her creative direction sm - The amount of costume changes shocked me after she stuck with just one look for the Scarlet tour! - The dinosaur! - The mud stage and routine for Wet *** Cons: - Opening with Acknowledge Me, was a bit anticlimactic. I was missing that big entrance moment ngl. - Setlist was a choice. This is a headlining Coachella slot, not the Scarlet tour… at least so I thought! Idk maybe I thought it would be more representative of her career thus far instead of just focusing on the new era but okay. The amount of Scarlet deepcuts she snuck in there made me giggle because you know no one knew what she was playing for a good few songs fff. - I know she's over the popstar persona but that 2022 performance hasn't been topped. I wish she could find a balance between Baldja and Popstarja - She got Parris Goebel just to not do a single dance routine until the end of the show… girl. - Was it just me or did the outfits progressively get worse the longer the show went on? When she popped out in the sheep bikini and shades I kinda chuckled ngl. Maybe it's slightly iconic - all the guest appearances were very anticlimactic but that's more the sound quality's fault than her own. Her also being separated from all the guests in some way for most of the songs also felt a bit odd. I hate being nitpicky because she did do great, but it could've been a whole lot better. With Doja, the bar was set really high. Since the Say So performances she really hit the ground running and truly hit the stride with the Planet Her 2022 festival run. I missed the theatrics! Curious to hear your guys' thoughts, were you gagged? Or also having mixed emotions like me lol. Either way I'm glad she was given the opportunity to do this. First female rapper to headline Coachella. Ever. 1

Sabandija Posted April 15 Posted April 15 So much Scarlet on it but I imagine she didn't want the setlist to look too similar to her last Coachella performance.

Saddy Posted April 16 Posted April 16 HELP I'm trying to find a pic, where Doja is lying on the bed and her demon is sitting (I think) on top of her It looked like a painting but idk if it was a photoshoot for a magazine or a promo for Scarlet... or maybe my brain just created this pic lol
