First of all, his fanbase is called Harries. If his success was due to directioners the other four wouldn’t be flopping to the deepest pits of hell.

A ton more people are listening to Spotify at that time than in the UK at midnight on a Thursday. Combine that with how big he is in America… in Canada, with the same time zone as America, he was just shy of top 25. In Australia it was the middle of the day as well so it also got a higher debut than the UK.

Fine Line was #2 in vinyl sales last year according to IFPI and it's a 2019 album + the numbers he pulls on social media are massive & arguably 2nd to only BTS when it comes to musical acts, I don't get how this is a set up at all

SPOTIFY Chart Tracking Period is based on UTC.. its tracking period is the same everywhere

 

if it did 5hours in US for March 31 then why does it show numbers for Asia-Pacific for March 31?? it's already morning of April 1 in Asia Pacific when the song was released

I literally have no idea what to expect for tomorrow’s streaming numbers. I legit thought the high streams was front loaded bc of fans but the 300 filtered streams is starting to change my mind

For a 2:47 minute song, the replay value in an hour us 20 times per fan... 300 is REALLY low considering how big his fanbase is and how short the song is
