Billionaire Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 The xenophobic OAHs in here trying to downplay these impressive numbers by screaming "locaL!1!!" & yet no one bats an eye when certain artists do huge numbers in the US or something OT: I've been streaming this hard deserved 4M in Brazil alone is absolutely insane Can't wait for the success stans to start stanning for this legend

Lady Claire Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Calling this song 'local' and 'inorganic' is just... xenophobic. 1. The song went viral first OUTSIDE of Brazil, it had already peaked here last year and started to climb on another LATAM countries before we jumped on again; 2. The song is not even top 3 on the list of most streamed songs from a single country; 3. The song is placed high on every other latin american country. Yeah, we exist? The world is not limited to the US? If anything this is one of the most organic songs we have seen lately, as it had a slow climb and went little by little to the top. I'm so proud of her. I was born on the same state of hers and i've been watching/following her career since the very beggining, even before she blew up in the whole country (Brazil). She went a looong way and now this is happening As of the records in Brazil, the whole country united to stream the song, it's not just her fans mass streaming or else like other acts. It's from real people, who like the song and feels proud of her.
