When your north american faves takes the #1 spot with 6 Million US streams no one says nothing.

I think I didn't express myself well. I was trying to make fun of the "inorganic" comments in here. I'm Brazilian and an Anitta stan

Isn't it #1 on TTH? But good for her, if they play it right she can have her Despacito :clap3:

P/s: the concensus here is very different from when BTS and Kpop acts hit big numbers :eli:

I mean i'm a kpop fan aswell but these are very different situations :rip:
Envolver came out in November last year and just this month started to gain a lot and has been rising super fast day after day... even hitting top 10 WW while barely being top 10 in her biggest market Brazil at that point

Most (few exceptions ofc) kpop songs on the other hand have big first day numbers fueled by mass streaming from hardcore stans and then lose streams every day :deadbanana2: definitely not organic compared to this

At this point this is even almost top 10 WW if you completely removed her home market Brazil.. and to be fair if we were to remove those streams then we'd have to remove the strongest market for every song to make a better comparison

OT: Its rising so fast everywhere :deadbanana2: wonder what the ceiling is

An increase in streams, the Brazilian population around the world must really be doing wonders for this inorganic song @Sept

umm kpop songs are fueled by streaming parties though while this is legitimately viral. different situations imo :bird: and even so, not a lot of kpop songs are making it to #1 globally

Without Brazilian streams this would still place #12 on the Global chart. :gaycat4:

Dynamite is staying in top 5/10 for weeks or even months. And mind you Spotify is not even relevant in Korea. Like imagine if Korean Spotify is as popular as other countries?

OT: Good for Anitta regardless
