If she didn't release an album when she had a hit (Wild Side) then I don't know what she's waiting for :rip:  :skull:

The expectations were already low but damn :deadbanana4:

And she had a performance too :rip: I guess this was kinda expected cause the playlisting was turrible and it’s not single material at all but it truly shows she’s wasting her hype and slowly losing it

what hype? the one she had 3 years ago? pls.

She has a huge urban hit (still top 10 on urban radio after months). She could have released an album already (or at least an EP)

It would be #1 without the 151 songs above it :clap3:

151 different sabotage tactics all for queen Normani. If they have to put in that much work then she must be THAT girl:hippo:

But seriously, wow Normani. Sometimes it's just not for you and I know she can branch off into acting, plays and other things so if this era doesn't turn out well then it's time to reevaluate what works for your brand. Like the song though

I'm starting to feel bad because this is awful :skull:

There are plenty of girls having moderate success with different genres yet she's seems unable to kickstart her career :rip:

It's a combination of so many things that I don't know where to begin with tbqh

At this point she should just release it for her fans, who been loyal for years without getting anything

Nobody cares about this girl from Fifth Harmony (Work from Home)

R&B songs usually underperform on Spotify. A better measure for this song’s popularity would be how it’s charting on Apple Music.
The song itself is okay, but would probably be better as an album track. Hope the album is released in the next few months

it debuted 40 spots below Charli XCX, ROSALIA, and a k-pop group’s new song, it’s past “kind of” :deadbanana4:

damn it's over for her

I honestly don't see the uptempo doing much better, people aren't here for her at all and to make things worst twitter lies to her and make her believe it«s the opposite and she is a "culture reset"

this song is just a gift for the fans, the real debut single is coming next year

I am not sure who is managing her, and I don't know what kind of deal she has, but whoever is choosing these singles for her ... HATES HER.

It’s the way Normani Stans have been making enemies with fanbases lately for me

only for her to do that :)

It was never expected to do well on Spotify, it would make more sense to criticize the Apple Music numbers

Did better than what I expected. I didn’t think it would chart. Either way, DOA

The Tinashe of her generation

Meanwhile Bam Bam reached a new peak on Spotify

Watch her label scrapping her debut album and she won't release music for the rest of year because of this

I wasn't expecting it to do well on Spotify but #152 is a disaster. :deadbanana4:

Fair isn't bad, but it's bland and doesn't really go anywhere. It sounds like a cute album track at most.

The fact Normani waited all this time since Wild Side to put out this song as a single, can't even imagine the amount of extra time she will take from now to finally put together a whole body of work. :skull:

Even Coconuts got more streams :rip:

I said it Thursday morning when I heard it with a VPN when most of this site was being deluded. This song isn’t a hit. It’s boring. It’s not about anything in an impactful way. It’s generic. This is the outcome she deserves. She’s not Beyoncé or Rihanna. Some artists can afford to put out an oddball single & still get hype & buzz. She’s not 1 of them. She needs to actually release a real single.
