Isn’t there atleast 7 new songs on red (tv)? Isn’t that basically an EP of new songs?

I was told multiple times that they were real fans..

haha let me summon @Virtual_Insanity

us real fans are in her base thread guys. 30 is a great album, we all loved it. its overall performance is great, but the longevity is worrying. That's probably it.

Y'all doing the most for a PREDICTED 0.1k difference :skull:

watch the final number having it reversed :rip: both girls are doing great but RED TV will prob have a longer leg in the end if Adele doesn't do any performance that's not IDW

don't worry, we all knew the difference between real fans and fake ones (who were instigating all the fights anyway).

Sorry but 30’s streaming consumption is pretty tragic by her standards. People aren’t interested in this album after hearing it

And both have been below Planet her and Sour for awhile so

I think an album that has sold 8-9 million units in the US can feel content being behind those albums.

The longevity is really weak for Adele this time but we can’t deny she already outsold everyone in the first month of release

That's what happens to most artists when they don't promote their work :oh:

exactly this thread is ridiculous that was the point I guess it went over your head. You are also off topic

No, actually I wasn't. This thread had to do with two artists, commenting on the fact that you dragged two other artists into this thread is actually on topic :toofunny2:. I guess that went over your head. Let's do better okay?

Isn't Folklore selling 13-14k weekly? That's like 3-4k difference so it will probably surpass 30 in a few months as well :lakitu:

Releasing more helps so I don't understand this.

Adele is in this predicament because she waited 6 years and is not adapting to streaming.

Nope. Fans only have this album to stream, while Swifties have more albums to buy and streams. thus dividing the sales and streams for those 5 albums.

Make it make sense

has there been any studies to show this? (that in the streaming era, multiple releases hinder the streams and sales of the most recent project)

Time for her to release All Night Parking with a sexy film noir inspired MV (No chairs) and save this dwindling era.

Its common sense. It is easier to buy and stream 1 album than 5 albums.

Releasing more frequently has always been a winning strategy, it worked amazingly for Madge, Mariah, Rihanna, Drake, Taylor, Aretha etc. Why do you think some artists were releasing one album a year and sometimes two (Aretha). Even more so in the streaming Era because every releases boosts the previous.

LOL @make it make sense.

Not really. The 2021 albums which will end up outperforming 30 in the long run: Dangerous, CLB, Sour, Planet Her, and possibly even Red TV if continues to outperform it. So not even Top 5 for the year

This is correct. Anytime a new release comes out, it boosts sales for previous releases. It’s even more helpful in the streaming era because the auto play feature always gives artists’ catalog streams a huge boost.

It’s 2022, sis. The biggest album will go to whomever releases the most versions of their album.

 there's only 1 version of each of the albums that I mentioned as far as I'm aware

Odd then given none of these albums have a genuine re-release except Planet Her's deluxe.

Dangerous: The Double Album (Bonus) was released about a month after Dangerous: The Double Album. Olivia is rumored to be dropping SOUR (Deluxe) at some point, too.

My point is that any of these artists can easily have the biggest album released in 2021 if they just put out another version of their album.

If she doesnt perform at the Grammys the era is definitely dead lol
