Also the back-to-back-to-back smashing of Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes and The Chicks (and Faith Hill too) whew Late 1990s to early 2000s were massive years for female country acts. I don't think there will ever be another country female artist to cross over to mainstream. Even if there will be they surely wont last long enough for it to feel significant.
