Let's begin with some albums that just missed the top 30 but I still appreciate in some form.

 

 

Dawn of Chromatica - Lady Gaga

September 3rd, 2021

 

 

We were all a little skeptical yet excited for this remix album. And let's just say, it (kind of) delivered.

Standouts including Free Woman with Rina and 911 with Charli, but other than that I cannot tolerate some of these tracks.

But after all, it is a remix album so I'm not that bothered.

(Also Haus Labs Version of Babylon was not worth the wait)

 

 

Shawn Mendes - Wonder

December 4th, 2020

 

 

I don't really have much to say on this, it has it's cute moments.

I only really listened to it because of his relationship with C word but the album was just meh really...

Despite that, I love the title track and cover.

 

 

Charlotte Lawerence - CHARLOTTE

March 5th, 2021

 

 

I've never listened to Charlotte before but this EP was an ok listen.

The tracks were very hit or miss and I haven't really re-visited it.

Standouts include: Why Do You Love Me? and You

 

 

Claire - Sling

This was the first Clairo album I listened to, and honestly.

I wish I didn't. It was quite monotone and boring? 

I haven't had any urge to revisit it yet but maybe one day I could like it a bit more.

 

 

Jorja Smith - Be Right Back

May 14th, 2021

 

 

I adored Jorja's debut album, and this was a cute EP.

The songs didn't hit as much as her debut but I'm hoping her second album does.

This is a nice gift for the fans until that sophomore album arrives.

Be Right Back is nice but gift for the fans is definitely the best way to describe it, hoping for a little more for her next album

This track is superb, one of my faves off the album.

That bridge ends me.

 

We Out Here - Rina Sawayama

 

When Sawayama (Deluxe) was first released, I hated it.

But now I have grown to love these songs (minus lucid), especially We Out Here.

The switch up is everything.

Again, Alessia really surprised me with this album.

She really shines through her ballads and occasionally through a bop (Lie To Me)

First discovering ELIO in February because of Charli I was massively drawn to her latest EP

This song especially feels so special and I'm emotionally attached...

 

Skinny Dipping - Sabrina Carpenter

 

Now, when it first got released I wasn't sure on the long ass verses.

But it's a bop, what can I say, hopefully her new album is more like Singular Act I as that is superb.

 

De Una Vez - Selena Gomez

 

It's a cute moment. That's all I can really say.

This look is great though.

 

Get Into It (Yuh) - Doja Cat

 

This song is always stuck in my head, but I never revisit it...

 

Oh Na Na - Camila Cabello w/ Myke Towers & Tainy

 

A downgrade from Don't Bop Yet, but still a good song.

Would've been a 10/10 I fear if the demo was the final.
