not getting her masters really became a blessing in disguise  i mean it's a lot of work for her to re-record them, but it's worth it with success like this. and it's not just her old stans streaming & buying this, she's gaining new stans. genius

Honestly her power is unmatched. Sure it got a big promotional push and had new songs but it’s still an old album. 
 

The power of her fanbase is only rivaled by BTS’ and she got the GP support too. Crazy how she almost beat Drake’s numbers, I wish she would’ve. The fact that her next studio album could be her 15th #1 after all the re-recordings that are left

It is indeed. She just reintroduced one of the best albums of the last decade to a whole new generation and also found new fans of the album's contemporaries who perhaps dismissed it on initial release. she just keeps cementing her work and keeps gaining new fans.
