I thought it was satanic too, but I sang and danced to it anyway The funny thing is that even to this day many people still avoid this song or get uncomfortable when someone plays it, because it still has the stigma of being a supposedly satanic song. At the time it was a hit it was also common to say that certain songs were of the devil. I once heard that if you played Shakira's (or another artist's) music backwards, you would hear demonic phrases, subliminal messages. And I believed it!
