What a classic! I was entering puberty when this song was playing everywhere. I thought it was satanic too, but I sang and danced to it anyway :katie2: The funny thing is that even to this day many people still avoid this song or get uncomfortable when someone plays it, because it still has the stigma of being a supposedly satanic song. At the time it was a hit it was also common to say that certain songs were of the devil. I once heard that if you played Shakira's (or another artist's) music backwards, you would hear demonic phrases, subliminal messages. And I believed it! :dies:

I was in first grade the summer after this song had just smashed and I remember its impact :jonny6:  It's so weird, cuz I just realized this is the first global smasha that I rihmember experiencing :rip:
