It's like week #7 now Hopefully Billboard modifies their rules at some point this summer but kudos to BTS and their team. And why are we acting as if anyone outside of us chart fanatics knows the difference of a #1 hit, a top 10 hits blah blah blah. if the radio says an album went platinum...people are going to believe it whether or not it's true. I remember when outkast's big albums was 8x platinum and radio hosts were saying 8 million sold when it was really 4M x 2 CDs but I knew better but the average person won't know and won't care. I mean I doubt people is even listening to it to hear the radio say it went #1. And just because something is “legal” does not make it accurate nor fair. When a song is literally nowhere to be seen in other more important platforms but is only staying afloat because of mass buying by fans, probably using VPNs, that is not ok. USA charts today Itunes #21 Butter Spotify #13 Butter Apple #148 (it was out if chart for almost 2 weeks) The song was out from top 20-30 on Spotify and Itunes for almost 2 weeks, doing badly in radio...yet getting 1 for 7 weeks....
