I don't think this is my strongest category by far as that narrative of women having to be sexy is something I feel is outdated, but it is the challenge nonetheless and I'm committed to completing it. Producer: So now that photos are submitted, can you tell us more about your entry. Tessa Thompson: For my photo I decided to pay tribute to one of my favorite artists and songs, the late great Amy Winehouse's Back to Black. As an artist, she had such an aura that I looked up to in my youth and I've always respected how much she owned her sexuality yet also never had to sell it too much. This was my take on that idea. Producer: As far as your competitors, thoughts? Tessa Thompson: I am pleasantly suprised with how many different ideas of sex we have, some are classy, some are trashy, some are artsy. It's really interesting, although, I will say that I don't nessecarily equate sex with nudity, so I don't think everyone hit the nail on the head. As a group though, we did a nice job.
