BTS are the epitome of mediocrity. Generic torture-pop music, so sugary sweet and so artificial I practically had to brush my teeth with bleach after listening to “Butter.”
Production sounding like it came from a McDonald’s Happy Meal music toy and cheesy 70’s melodies sounding like they were concocted from Charlie Puth’s L.A. mansion. It is truly a terrible song.

This is capitalism at its peak. It’s giving me all sorts negative imagery of the dark side of the entertainment industry. Fraudulence, scamming, Simon Cowell, Scooter Braun, NDAs, contracts, greed, slave labour....

I want to know who at Billboard is keeping this **** stuck at the top, and how big the cheque they received was.

Can we pin this post at the top of every thread? :clap3:

What difference will that make lol. The BTS stans will just switch to purchasing from Amazon or itunes.

You can only buy each version once per account. And they can't do things like sell the same version of a song just with a different cover

Honey, Riri has REAL hits.

Sorry but if you're gonna block her, you better bring a Desperado (Wild Though) or a WBT (Pon De Replay) type of chart point monster.

If Rihanna can't pull 400 chart points; then I won't feel like she's entitled to a #1.

Olivia fans want her to be #1 with those weak chart points so they can make her look more successful than she is.

Army did the same thing with Dynamite and it didn't keep real smash hits to get their time at #1. (ie WAP & Mood )

Omg reading these bts stans replies lmao they are so delusional lmao. They’re not top 10 on ANYTHING… just website sales bought by stans money from other countries lmao we’ve seen it.

and on top of chart daring to shade Olivia kabdvkabdbdndn and her smashing? Whew. Probably the most deluded fan base out there. Deluded by their own fraud :skull:

LOL. No one is talking about Good 4 U in the real world. And they never have been. Olivia's unprecedented streams coming from random playlist clicks and obsessed stans binge streaming lol.

I-

imagine believing this. Your username truly fits you.

It is so interesting to me that when Dua was on TTH for ages there was loads of talk about her "payola". Now suddenly streaming is KING. The constant switching.

OT - Butter ( 1 1 1 1 1 1) :WAP:

Well maybe it if was iTunes where people buy their music… and do you see it #1 there? Nope. It’s website sales from stans ONLY. That excuse doesn’t even work here. Delusional af.

Olivia is AMERICAN.

BTS are Korean (Asians).

Xenophobia is based on citizenship not ethnicity.

Thus it is still a valid critic of BTS haters. They clearly have no respect for success in Asia & think the world starts and ends in Europe.

Streaming has always been the biggest percentage of the Hot 100 formula.

The true measure dominant  popularity of the current times.

Great to see pure sales winning over the fradulent, payolad playlisted streams.

This is "Butter" also.

As well on radio.

Payola can only get you so far, if outside of the fanbase rejects

You mean the casual General Public?

Only in Billboard's Hot 100 flawed formula specifically!

Look at the other official charts and she's perched on top ;)

Bestie good 4 u is easily THE biggest hit of the year. Who tf is talking about Butter?? No one knows that song about from the couple thousand (hundred?) obsessed armies purchasing it on repeat

I am not impressed by the playlisted fuelled streaming charts or the radio payolad lists either which are boosting Olivia to number two.

I have never heard Good 4U on any radio station. And I work in an office where radio is playing all day in the background. No one has ever mentioned Olivia either.

Good. "Butter" needed it considering the breakdown of its chart points.

Butter isn't even number one in Korea's biggest music service, their home country, and has been heavily pushed by their massive fanbase yet still failed to beat other songs' numbers and got beaten by a group that debuted seven months prior. They are not even in the top 3 right now and the numbers keep freefalling. They'll lose their Gaon #1 this week as well (if fans don't fraud with the ringtone bulk buy :rip:).

They're out of the top 3 (sometimes out of the top 10) in every korean music services and they didn't manage to beat other smaller artists ULs.:rip: Is Korea xenophobic against BTS? Because despite their massive domestic fanbase, the GP doesnt seem to care about them in Korea either so I assume this is xenophobia. :eatpopcorn:

Not mentioning the countless bad comments about them on korean websites (that Hybe threatened to sue :skull:)

Also, didn't you post this just a few hours ago?

That is categorically false, and you know it. :rip: How are you genuinely going to try and convince anyone of this, when her music is smashing on every platform, all around the world? :skull: Nobody talks about BTS, and you can tell that from how horribly they're doing on every metric. They're not even doing that well in Korea with this song. :toofunny3:

You keep arguing about "pure sales" supposedly meaning more than streams, yet BTS are #28 on iTunes right now (up from outside of the top 40 yesterday), and Olivia is perched at #10. The only 'sales' you're winning on is the fraudulently purchased website sales, funded by stans from outside the country. You're not fooling anyone.

Even in Korea, their fans tried to fraud the system by mass buying Butter when a 7 month old group started to catch up on BTS. They went as far as BEGGING random people to receive it as a gift. :rip:

In the end Butter fell and their fans became a joke on korean online boards. :dies:

Just typical xenophobia against BTS from koreans. :cm:

Do you really think I am remotely concerned about convincing you or any of the other BTS haters of anything lol ?

At the end of the day the song is number one on Billboard, and web sales count so your biased opinion that no one in real life knows it is inherently flawed.

That Meghan song Beyonce jumped on wouldn't have been number one without web sales either LOL

Oh, so now you suddenly don't care? Funny, because I'm pretty sure you're perched in every single thread, arguing with everyone about it every week. Seems to me that it's less about you 'not being concerned' and more so the fact that you're totally incapable of actually defending your argument.

"Butter" remains painfully irrelevant in America, regardless of how many weeks fans from other countries fraudulently push it to the top spot. Everyone can see that by how horribly it's performing on every metric.

As I said, you're not fooling anyone.

It's relevant enough for you to be perched in every thread every week also LOL

When are you going to realize that your opinion is completely irrelevant.

Yes, I'm perched in the thread because I care enough to discuss the fraudulence that is affecting the chart each week. You just said you didn't care. Strange way of showing it. :)

But hey, as soon as the bots stop mass funding this from outside the US and it drops straight off the chart (just like "Dynamite" did) we can join the rest of America in not thinking about this song ever again.

The bots ? Is that supposed to be some sort of nickname for BTS ? Interesting.

No, that would be an actual word. If it was a nickname for a group, the first letter would be capitalised. #Grammar

The_More_You_Know_0-0_screenshot.jpg

Also, how would that make sense? :rip: BTS aren't the ones funding it, it's a small group of fans... You tried.
