Billboard had a rule change that an album only counts when it ships so because of the back log of Vinyl production, this was the week they were going to be shipped because of when Evermore was released. Taylor doesn’t control that. Either Evermore debuts with over 500k to include the Vinyl sales that haven’t shipped yet or Evermore (and I guess other Taylor albums in the future) will see huge bumps 6 months after release for Vinyl sales (that is until production becomes normal again). If anything maybe Olivia should have released another time since we all knew when the Evermore Vinyl’s would ship 6 months ago but none of us knew that Olivia would be releasing an album 6 months ago Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Those sales are real and was purchased with money fair and square. Its not like she give it away for free. Theres nothing suspicious about it, 1 sale is 1 sale.
