Thinking Of You Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Oh they exposed her for sales fraud Poor BTS fans

Greg Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 They definitely need to divulge what's happened. If they're using Dua as a precedent for the BTS bulk buy next week, that sucks for Dua. They probably want to avoid the wrath of the BTS fans at all costs if webstore sales no longer count.

I bet they did this to Dua so they have precedent to remove BTS's bulk buys come next week. There's no way they'd risk the wrath of BTS fans by doing it to them first. Poor Dua. Dua sacrificed herself on the cross to stop the devil (BTS) 8 minutes ago, suburbannature said: They should have implemented this in 2020 agreed
My Tears Ricochet Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 I think she can still go #1 after a few weeks when it peaks on radio
Siberian Tiger Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Will BTS even chart next week considering rules change?

Not them using Dua as a pawn cuz they're scared of BTS

This isn’t even the most egregious case of that. They should’ve announced on Monday that they were auditing sales and given some more updates instead of just saying “we threw these sales out because they look shady”. It’s pretty ridiculous. Can we just agree to use Rolling Stone as the standard pop chart going forward? Billboard is only as relevant as we let them be and their credibility has definitely taken a hit this week. Hard to trust anything they put out going forward. No, this is ridiculous. The industry is constantly changing and despite a few hiccups, Billboard does its best to keep things as fair as they possibly can. They just need to come forward and be transparent with why they did what they did.
Ger Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Also, they should have made some adjustment on audience impressions, airplay numbers are bigger than expected.
