24K Magic deserved to be #1 more than TWIL though.

This. I'm really surprised the latter turned out to be bigger

now release VOTF and destroy everyone (and the global charts). VOTF as of this moment is still being played to death in the Philippines despite peaking months ago.

So Justin is about to snatch 2 more #1s? The pop boys are truly winning  :jonny3:

Is the full Hot 100 out? Billboard's site is being wonky.

Do you have any predictions where the cure will be next week?

It great Selena got another top 10 but her stans really do call her selegend and thinks like that over things like a top 10...it's kind of...interesting because it's common for someone in their prime to do.

It's good though that a female is in the top 10, though

It's not only a ''top 10'', it's a top 10 with no promo, no interviews, no tweets or posts on instagram. It's a top10 based only on their name's power. You can stop being so pressed over anyone you don't even stan.

Pop boys are truly winning nowadays. Bieber about to snatch 2 more #1s :dancehall: Bruno slaying after months of TWIL release. Kendrick, Drake, Bruno slaying the albums chart. But I want the girls' slayage to happen again though :!ohno:

Congrats Bruno! :clap3: 'That's What I Like' is great.

Even if he does 250k in sales he would debut #1 with ease in this sales climate lol.

I'm hoping and have a feeling he's going to be huge, especially debut week :dancehall:

Can't wait for Bieber to join the ranks of Usher and the Beatles for having replaced themselves on the Hot 100 2 times. Justin will actually be the first to do it with 2 sets of separate songs.

Beatles:

I Want To Hold You're Hand was replaced by She Loves You

She Loves You was then replaced by Can't Buy Me Love

(Only act to have 3 consecutive self-replacing #1's)

Usher:

Yeah! was replaced by Burn

Burn was replaced by Confessions Part ll

(Believe by Fantasia interrupted Burn's stay at the top so he didn't replace himself atop consecutively. But still an amazing accomplishment)

Justin:

Sorry was replaced by Love Yourself

I'm The One is looking to debut #1 next week and Despacito can potentially take over afterwards.

Don't forget about Outcast in 2003-4 with Hey Yeah (9 wks) and The Way You Move (1 wk).

but with ''the remixes'' and the ''try-hard viral videos''

I must admit I'm beginning to wish BB only counted ODS, and Pandora (and websites similar to Pandora). I know most of ATRL doesn't feel the same way about YT/Vevo viral videos.

I'm growing weary of all the songs relying on just 1/2 of a component BB uses for its music charts to be considered a smash. And no, "racism" plays zero role in my opinion. I know I'll get accused of this by other ATRL members, so I feel the need to address this matter ahead of time.

I know that. I was just saying acts that have done it twice. Here's a full list of acts that have done it in general:

Self-replacement at number one

I was going to say, T.I. replaced himself at #1 twice as well, just with the same pair of songs lol.

How sure are y'all that Despacito will also go #1

Posted

So Bruno snatched that #1 after all :clap3: And some people said he was underperforming LOL

Anyways can't wait for I'm the One to debut at #1 next week :duca:

The reason why Hip Hop artists are doing so much better than in previous years is because they were hit the most by pirating compared to other genres.  Adding streaming allowed BB to get a true feel for which songs were the biggest.

It's not because Hip Hop is bigger than other years or pop isn't as big, it's just that BB is getting a more accurate assessment of which songs are the biggest with the addition of streaming.

:clap3: Great tune!

America NEEDS "XO Tour Llif3" at #1 though!

Poor ATRL hoping he'd be over this era. Bruno and talent stay winning :clap3:

Yeah I think Despacito will get the Cold Water treatment.  :shakeno:

A shame because Despacito is such a worldwide smash.
