moonlitdick
would Ariana have 2 #1s if she released Side To Side as the lead single from Dangerous Woman and Into You as the 2nd single? releasing a huge pop collab with a a huge rapper as a feature as the lead single and then a pure pop song with an aesthetic video as the 2nd single. it worked for Katy, who released California Gurls as her lead and then Teenage Dream as the 2nd single and Rihanna who released What's My Name as her lead and then Only Girl In The World as her 2nd single. Truth Teller
Into You wouldn't have gone #1 sis. It's sad, but the 2016/17 GP just doesn't appreciate this kind of pop. Side To Side would have a chance against one of Work's weaker weeks, but it's worth pointing out that one of DW's main struggles (other than the video cancellation) is that it faced hesitation from radio because of Focus having underperformed. If radio had embraced it quicker, it would been a top 5 hit imo. DW paved the way for STS. If STS followed Focus, there's no telling how it would have gone. It'd still have been a hit, but idk

Mrs. Jay
Dangerous Woman should never have been the lead, or even a single at all. It should've been a track left on the album to contextualize the theme of the album
Danixoxo
S2S would've worked as lead single, but please, atrl needs to let go of Into You The song is mediocre and the GP knew. It wouldn't have done any better.
