Music2002 Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Some people dragging Justin's pure sales, well let's look at more relevant figures: First Week Streams (US): Justice: 157.02 million ... COTCC: 21.19 million Katy's Smile: 19 million (just here as a frame of reference) No wonder Lana waited 6 months for the vinyls, I don't think she would have even been in the top 10 if it weren't for those Vinyls. Anyways, congrats to both Justin and Lana
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) Good numbers for Lana, the pure sales are excellent Edited March 28, 2021 by G.U.Y_Del_Rey
GreatestLoveofAll Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 I love Lana's consistency. I havent heard the album yet but ik she'll serve. Justin doing 154k- more than predicted! If peaches indicates anything, this will be a hit album in the long run. What's the forecast for Carrie's album next week btw?
Roberto Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Not Lana outpeaking Norman. Bravo, queen! Solid debut.

KetysandGagsSon Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Lana without a hit, without promo, a Legend. She is selling on word of mouth.
State of Grace. Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Lana doing this in a post-QFTC world and with zero promo or even a small hit.

Who cares about streams when 60K people are buying the entire album on a physical format with zero promotion and zero songs on the radio. She won.
slw84 Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 The Taylor stans are so focused on Bieber's numbers, though. Good for Bieber 8 #1 albums is impressive. 150k units isn't bad for me. His songs before the album drop weren't really hitting and peaches might be the first hit. I have a feeling Peaches and Justice will have legs at least through the summer.
KetysandGagsSon Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 And you can’t drag Bieber when his single is serving Drivers License updates on Spotify.

She is truly a main popgirl at this point and no one can deny it. DSN not going #1 is a hate crime cuz it owuld have made the era even more perfect success wise but she'll get one eventually at this rate. She's smashing left and right and is THAT GIRL.

Only a few of us who posted in here stan Taylor anyway This is a pop music forum, if you can’t handle people commenting on an artist pulling low numbers, maybe it’s not the right place for you? This is literally a charts thread and people are just discussing numbers Anyways, Justin’s numbers are still not good. But his streaming numbers are not too bad though, at least he improved from Changes Rod Wave is predicted to do similar numbers next week, I think. Hopefully Morgan doesn’t return to the top.
Michael196 Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 If folklore is #11 for the 5/6th time, I’m gonna have a meltdown but it’s probably gonna re-enter the top 10 again in 2 weeks when fearless(tv) gets released!
