not true, I've been hearing this song in the Netherlands (for example) for months before JB remix. In fact, have yet to hear the JB remix on radio and just today I heard the original again   

It's really huge.

Not true at all I don't know where you live, but the song was already a hit in a lot of Spanish speaking countries and even some English speaking ones as well, so your point is invalid

I live in the largest music market in the world where the song was unknown before King Bieber graced it, tyvm.

What's your point? The song was still being streamed and selling all over the world before the Bieber remix... even in the US. The video reached 1 billion views before the remix and a large percentage of the views are from American users.

The song was already doing well in the US (top 50) before Justin's feature. Sure it wasn't a smash but  people knew about it and it could've probably crossover had they done an English remix like Bailando or El Perdon have done recently.

No one's denying the Bieber push, but there are people are acting the song (the usual types) was non-existent before it. Like it hit 1 billion views before Bieber.

i only know the song bc of justin i havent been up to date with music recently and idc for Luis fonsi and daddy yankee but i i do know both of them are very succesful without justin. i lost so much weight thank to daddy yankee "ella me levanto" when i was like 14.

anyway, i love the song.
