Oh I see. I've read that Deezer actually produces more streams than Spotify in Brazil, so their numbers might be even bigger. Dua's certified single units for DSN equal to 240 million streams, and the certification is from seven months ago.

You're actually right. Deezer is cheaper and easier to use, so it's more popular. Although, Spotify keeps getting bigger tho, especially among the youth. I don't know if we actually have the YEC charts from Deezer. It'd be cool if it's avaliable

Serious? I am shocked. I know it is anedoctal, but everyone in my circle uses Spotify while very few are on Deezer (usually people who have that cheap VIVO partnership).

 

And brazilian Spotify numbers are actually huge, it's been doing bigger numbers than USA this year, so it's hard to view how Deezer would be able to top those.

Yeah, I was shocked too   Lots of friend of mine use Spotify too, but there are a significant amount of people I know that use Deezer too, I mean...even my uncle use Deezer.   I've tried once but I didn't liked, for me, Spotify is way better....

dd; I just realized the "chart" in the OP was obtained by adding up the weekly data from Kworb. So it doesn't take into account any streams for songs that fell below the top 200 (and that might as well be 600k streams per week).
