Rain On Me sold more and without several remixes! Also it dropped to #5 in its second week, while willow is predicted to fall to #36 (beating the TROLLZ record!). :deadbanana4:

Not sure what early predictions for Week 2 have to do with you labeling its #1 debut a fraud

Because a #1 song (only #1 because of cheap remixes and discounts of discounts) dropping 35 positions in its second week is obviously fraudulent. :cm:

Did your randomly forget the massive first week streams, low airplay and the approximately 20 Christmas songs above it next week? Or just playing dumb for the drags?

This site screaming FRAUD about BTS, Travis and Nicki’s forced #1s yet says congrats when Taylor does the same?? So it’s only ok when the artist is white??

why am I not surprised.

Yeah LMAO!!!!

It was a fraud. Another desperate fraudulent #1. Looking forward to a #1 - 15 - 25 - 75 - OUT situation.

Because it had physical releases, which aren’t allowed anymore. The way y’all continue to play dumb.

Also let’s not mention the onslaught of Christmas songs that will be pushing Willow down next week. That would be too objective huh.

Physical single releases aren’t allowed anymore?

1. It sold more because it did not come with Chromatica, an album that with physicals, bundles and signed CDs was still not able to sell close to what evermore sold with streams and digitals only.

2. It only had such a swift descent because the album came in the week after it, which always increases streams of prior singles.

3. "willow" is a solo #1 and Taylor did not need to recruit the current hit girl to achieve this feat

Worded that wrong, pre-order physicals aren’t counted anymore if they don’t ship first week. Rain On Me had that benefit, as did Cardigan and a bunch of other songs. Not dragging anyone, just pointing out how things have changed.

The way people are SUFFERING over her is EMBARRASSING. Especially my fellow Gaga stans always putting their foot in their mouth when their releases were completely different.

145 points would put it at #15-20 in any given week, which is still a horrific drop from "#1"

but certainly not a challenge for a TROLLZ type of drop like some lunatics are claiming

The fumes in here :ahh:

OT:

Her SEVENTH #1 (and counting), the same week her newest album is #1 and her previous album is #3 on the albums chart. Her simultaneous chokehold at the top of EVERY chart whenever she releases. The non-stop winning of Taylor Alison Swift, ladies and gentlemen :jonny5:

...but that’s not what these OTHs are arguing. They’re saying it would be the biggest drop of all time, which in any other circumstance, it wouldn’t be.

There's literally people that are dying

Miss Swift and Miss Gaga both did some trickery in the singles department in some way or form

Totally disgusting. BTS is a young group with talented people who are working their ASS OFF to get a hit yet here we have this basic bitch with all her tricks being celebrated.

Why are people mentioning rain on me when it did around 65k from iTunes alone. It had 7k from her web store. 65k alone would be more than enough since it had ~30 million streams. Stupid love had 50k iTunes sales and 3k bundles according to Nielsen. So idgi.

Ot- I think album releases during q4 don’t do as well due to all those Christmas songs. She should’ve released willow a week before and the album this week. Willow would’ve been top 10 for a second week

In a non-holiday circumstance it wouldn't be the biggest drop, that's correct. It would still be the 4th-biggest, however.

While still the song bombed, it's also worth noting that there were TEN Christmas songs above Life Goes On in it's second week. If not, it would've been at #18, only the third biggest drop, and Franchise would be the 2nd biggest drop behind TROLLZ.

Bad timing for both making their chart positions worse, but the falls from #1 are horrific nonetheless.
