This is not true and you know it.

Please, if pop girls were dominating streaming, there would be no frustration over this.

I've said it already, but I'm just going to say it again because some of ya'll are mad af in here and just don't get it.

Your pop girl faves are over. Eat it, swallow it, bathe in it, whatever. The blow up sex doll pop star got old. Hunching on the floor whisper-singing about good sex is played. Instathots made beauty more accessible. There's nothing rare or exciting about seeing an oversexed woman when you see one every 5 seconds on social media. Pop girls gotta bring the talent and creativity like they did before. The days of putting out a generic Max Martin rehash and getting a Top 10 are over.

I literally only know ONE song in the Hot 100 top 10 :lmao: Never thought I'd see the day. I'm so confused.

It's kinda weird how I haven't even heard Humble. Giving me forgettable #1s by Mariah teas.

My pop girl fave is over? My fave's recent album sold 10M copies and is one of the best-selling albums of this decade. She spawned 3 global smash hits in her last era, which all went #1 in the states as well and her current single peaked at #2 and was streamed more than 400 million times already. She's the only person to have two YouTube videos to hit 2B views. So what's your point, lol?

How are non-singles benefiting from heavy streaming any different from non-singles being placed on the charts due to instant gratification?

Streaming has become a huge metric and should be counted accordingly.

And no, Billboard has always been and will always be "messed up."
